For any keyboard players, I would recommend the Casio Privia. It's got the full 88 keys with weighted action but it only weighs about 24 pounds. I use the music stand that comes with the keyboard to hold my old school music compilation book. From there I can easily switch from piano to guitar depending on the song..

Awesome. I been putting off learning piano for about 40 yrs now lol

@@FrankPersico It gives your fingers a little break form the fretboard so it helps with 3 - 4 hour gigs. Let It Be is an easy beginner song to me. I heard that Bob Dylan only plays piano now at his concerts because he can no longer play guitar.

Right on , Brother. I have a different system, but I live with my own system. I take a count of what I bring to a gig. #1. #2. #3. etc. When I go to a gig, I know it's an #6 gig. We go from there. Rock on.

@@FrankPersico mine went on me a few years ago (I miss it)- I have the EV Stick now with the subwoofer- great sound but 1. Subwoofer is heavy so not as compact as the fishman and 2. No effects- I always looked at the "fish stick" as an acoustic guitar amp with vocals- it just sounds warmer than, say, the Bose sticks.

Hey man - great job! You sound great and you got surprisingly decent sound from your camera mic! I just picked up a Onyx8 mixer so I can go direct off my board when playing live to record into my DAW but it's gonna involve bringing a bunch more stuff (like a laptop).... anyway, keep it up

Zoom H4N Pro is the exact solution you need. Set up all your sound like normal, and then run either a mono signal or stereo signal with your guitar and vocals split right into the zoom. It has two combo XLR/1/4 jacks on the bottom with a solid little screen an interface. Then when get hone just dump it into your DAW.

Which looper were you using? Are you still using the Ditto4? I read some reviews that brought up reliability issues. I want a looper, have the small Boss but I need the stop button and would like 2 or 3. Also I loved the Brooklyn flavor at the end of the video with your rant about the double parker, so real LOL!

@@FrankPersico I hate to say something challenging because your video's are great for those wishing to take the plunge, it's just that in another of your videos you talk about reading the room and selecting songs based on the audience. Well, decades of doing this has taught me that if you know your tunes inside out, those adjustments are easier and can be done on-the-fly without having to waist time, disengage from the audience (albeit momentarily) and endure the distraction of finding the next tune on your music stand or computer. Just sayin...

@@davidscotbrown3241 Nah dude. you say what you need to say. Thats the point. The funny thing is ( and i didnt bother saying it in my response to you earlier). the ipad is there but i never use it. Its for when someone makes a request that I don't know. Also i don't sit anymore for like the past year almost because i found not only does it not present itself well but i also sing better when standing.. And the music stand is gone i use a small mic holder for the ipad because people were complaining they liked to watch my hands when i do fingerstyle and it was blocking everything. I don't make setlists i just GO when im playing a room such as yourself. I thank you for taking the time to say what you really feel. thats how we grow

@@FrankPersico While I don't use one for when I'm playing my own stuff, I do have an iPad for covers gigs. It's more as a prompt and a resource. I have a core set that I know backwards, but when a request comes in or I feel like doing something I haven't done in a while its very useful and quick. Besides it's very easy to get distracted in a busy, noisy pub, people walking up mid-song asking questions etc, so for my brain it helps get me back in to where I should be. Besides it's impossible to memorise every song ever recorded in case someone asks for it, so I think of it as just another tool in my toolbox. I still give a full on performance (I stand too) and I don't see the point in limiting myself when that resource is there. Great video btw
