The main NPR channel has this same performance, but with actual subtitles. This is the version on the Korean Tiny Desk channel. I guess they figured that Koreans wouldn't need subtitles. There is a band performance that V did with the same band and background vocalists.
V is one of a kind. He is so sweet but when he is on stage, his charisma and stage presence is off the charts. I always prefer listening to live performances as he always sounds better live and of course his stage performance can’t be beat.
You should check out a video showing V’s stage presence. The video is called Kim Taehyung burning the stage with his charisma by VTS OT7. v is known as the idol of idols by kmedia, because he is cited as a role model by many idols and they watch his fancams to learn stage presence. V is able to command a stage even standing still like in his solo’s ’Stigma’. He has the most watched fancam in kpop history for a reason. His vocals are best live and he has the widest vocal range in the group. He is able to match the tenors high notes but can go lower than low. V is a musician’s musician, he will share his stage with musicians, give them a spotlight and will promote them any chance he gets.
I think it's better for him to watch his fancams directly than that compilation which includes too many old performances and doesn't highlight how good he truly is. Recommended: V fancams Boy With Luv, Black Swan, MIC Drop. Thank you for your reaction

Love your reaction too much because I can relate 😊 I was not a fan of Kpop before although my married daughter is a die-hard fan of BTS especially V. Her room is filled with all sorties (pics, album, toys,etc) .. During the pandemic, I'm often at home listening to music n watching RUclips that I came across V. Now you can say I'm totally hooked everything about him everyday 🤩😍🎶👏♥️♥️♥️

There are live performances of Rainy Days and Blue. It's just not from tiny desk. There is something about watching him perform and seeing the expressions that is truly amazing. I also recommend Sungularity live stage mix.

I enjoyed this very much! V went on many music shows to promote his album, and sounded great on each one, and you get the bonus of seeing his dance crew. The stage for Music Bank - on KBS WORLD TV - is beautiful. I think it will get blocked because it's from an entertainment company, but maybe you could modify it. I don't know all about the rules. You said some things ARMY says about all the BTS members: they sound even better live, and you can see they are having a great time on stage. Each one's distinctive voice impresses us.

There’s a side of BTS which I don’t think they share. We see dance lessons and some choreography, but we don’t get hints of how they work with professionals to develop their voices over time. They never injure their vocal cords. They all started singing at a certain placement, but have expanded their range and abilities. Maybe I’m too suspicious but they’ve all improved so much
Unfortunately I'm just learning about them and I can't tell you for sure, but I think they're really very good. They have truly remarkable vocal stability
