The south African league is quite good. Many of their best players play at home and together so it was the eagles that are slightly at disadvantage due to the fact that they have less opportunities to play and blend together

You should be grateful that Yusuf didn't have any more time to cause havoc to the Nigerian team. He should never be in that team again! And yes, it was a penalty. Smart forwards do that alot. They jump in front of a player in the penalty area when they are trying to clear the ball knowing that such player will likely kick them rather than the ball which is what happened. If Yufuf was alert and not lazy, he could have pulled away trying to clear it when he felt the South African player coming in from behind!

That south african penalty that led to the cancellation of osimhens goal was very unfortunate and harsh on the Nigerian defender.The south african player was very smart and intelligent to come from behind and stuck his leg forward to have contact with the Nigerian defender who was about to make a harmless clearance.That decision was harsh and it turned what would have been a straight forward victory for the eagles into a nightmare.But the resillience and never say die spirit of Nigerians won the battle for them.

Tbvh, IF that 2nd Osimhen goal had stood, it would have wiped off all his high ratings, man was poorly positioned; he didn't even see Osimhen sneaking in from his right........that's the hallmark of a world-class striker!! He's so lucky to have that goal chalked off due to an infringement spotted en route that beautiful counter attacking move. Should have easily ended 2-0 or 2-1 in regulation time!

You should be grateful that Yusuf didn't have any more time to cause havoc to the Nigerian team. He should never be in that team again! And yes, it was a penalty. Smart forwards do that alot. They jump in front of a player in the penalty area when they are trying to clear the ball knowing that such player will likely kick them rather than the ball which is what happened. If Yufuf was alert and not lazy, he could have pulled away trying to clear it when he felt the South African player coming in from behind!

That south african penalty that led to the cancellation of osimhens goal was very unfortunate and harsh on the Nigerian defender.The south african player was very smart and intelligent to come from behind and stuck his leg forward to have contact with the Nigerian defender who was about to make a harmless clearance.That decision was harsh and it turned what would have been a straight forward victory for the eagles into a nightmare.But the resillience and never say die spirit of Nigerians won the battle for them.
