the reason women are able to balance better is because women's center of gravity tends to be at the hips, whereas men's tends to be in the shoulder

Normally I suggest the opposite hand of you dominate hand. If you are Right hold left

You ride with whatever hand comfortable. Not opposite of your dominant one unless u feel comfortable with that.

I rode a mechanical bull at my county fair back in 2014. Since it was my first time, I had the operator go very slow, and I only rode for about a couple of minutes. I said to the operator and to the kids who were watching me and wanting me to go faster, "Take it easy on this old lady...this soon-to-be-38 (now, it'd be soon-to-be-45) year old lady."

There are 3 types of riding in mexico. There's the Charro way which is both hands and just a hand rope, The USA way which is the one hand (not commonly practiced only in PBR Mexico) and the last way is no hands, but they use hooks on their spurs instead of the traditional round spurs.

Yes I rode a Mechanical Bull about six months after the movie “Urban Cowboy” came out. First, I had several shots of Jack. Then I hopped on the the Bull and waved to my friends. Finally, I fell off. I’m from Brooklyn, NY... I hope you weren’t expecting a Bull Story. 😉
