For me, for whatever reason, there was no Quadro FX 1200. So instead I changed Quadro FX 1500 (the option just bellow Quadro FX) to the name of the graphics card and that seemed to work fine. Thanks for posting the video :)

This was best video from this setup, only main thing is to rename any folder from NV40 to your current named driver, thats all what you need to do. Some other had really odd ways to do this and no any explanation for about binaries. So this worked!
I had the same problem, but I solved it. I realized from the beginning I was in the wrong path. you have to start at HKEY_CURRENT_USER, both of us probably were on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Give this a try!
For Nvidia cards: If you have a driver version that newer than 472.xx nothing will work. You have to downgrade your gpu driver. It seems like cheating protection from nvidia. Now I'm using 457.63 and it works fine.
@@nikanahmadi7757 In case if you have doubt, rename Intel (R) UHD with anyone. You can use the one I used too. In case you have two Display cards, repeat the trick for both.

Since for the RTX 2070 card the equivalent is QUADRO RTX 4000, which is not there, I replaced the entry with QUADRO P5000, because it has the closest CUDA number. It works! :) I wonder if it has any meaning what kind of card we will rename? Probably not.. Anyway..THANKS!!! ;)

I don't understand... In other video author has GTX970 - method works, in this video there is GTS450 (!), like in my first PC 10 years ago - and this method works. @@CADGill I found another method that is very similar to yours but it involves creating a new key rather than renaming an existing one. It requires creating the Workarounds Dword from scratch and entering in the proper hexadecimal number under 'Value Data'. I know this is a lot to ask but would you mind checking that number within the key that is working for you and letting me know what that number is? It would be very much appreciated. Thank you. And thanks for the guide. I was actually able to get it working on my laptop with a GTX 970m but just haven't been able to get it working yet on my desktop with the 2060 Super. Good day to you.

I did this. Changed 1500 to Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630 but it didn't work :(. However, by turning on integrated preview I can see the appearances.

I tried this for my AMD Ryzen 570 and it did not work. I tried renaming the quadro 1500 FX as the 1200 did not show up. Should I rename another file?

I managed to make it work. Had to add a new key in the NVIDIA folder also for my GTX1080. Tried all other methods and were not working.
