מאוד מרגש!! רק יש לדייק כי לקודש הקודשים נכנס עם בגדי לבן. ביום כיפור: זהב- עבודת התמיד. הטבת הנרות והקטרת הקטורת. עבודת המוסף. לבן- עבודת היום - הווידויים, עבודת הקטורת, הגורלות, ההזאות. זהב -קרבנות: שעיר בחוץ, איל, אמורי הפר והשעיר, תמיד של בין הערביים. לבן - הוצאת כלי הקטורת מקודש הקדשים. זהב- קטורת של בין הערביים, הדלקת נרות, מנחת התמיד ונסכו, מנחת חביתין.
The only remaining object known to have been in the Holy of Holies, great point, that's awesome. This is assuming this particular bell was actually on a robe that got used. If it was a backup bell kept in storage to sew on the robe in the event of another bell being lost, or anything like that, then maybe it wasn't ever in the Holy of Holies.
Great find BUT the bells on his hem were designed to confirm the cohen hagadol was alive - if he died then he would be silent and they would have dragged out his corpse. It was not aimed as an entertainment - Given millions attended the temple on Yom Kippur then 72 little bells tingling in the Holies of Holy would never have never be heard.
