Rally for Striking Chronicle Herald Newsroom Workers

Journalists, editors and photographers at The Chronicle Herald have been on a defensive strike since January 23rd, 2016.
On October 11th, a rally was held for the striking newsroom workers (members of CWA Canada's Halifax Typographical Union), which featured Canadian Labour Congress President Hassan Yussuff, Nova Scotia Federation of Labour President Danny Cavanagh, Halifax-Dartmouth & District Labour Council President Suzanne MacNeil, Nova Scotia New Democratic Party (NS NDP) Leader Gary Burrill and others.
