This is some high concept slav modding. Let me explain. The author has all these ideas and concepts that would be cool if properly implemented by a talented writer in a short story or a novel. The difficulty and the overall inaccessibility are symbolic. The elaborate and mysterious mechanics are left for you to discover with no hand-holding or exposition dumping, again, like a written story. You, the player, are lost and confused as much as the character you're playing. But in game design terms, it's inaccessible and barely playable trash. Thank you for your sacrifice, Cheeki.
In essence, every slav trash-modder wants to be Hideo Kojima but with very little understanding of game design or storytelling, coupled with limited technical skills (or proficient in just one area, e.g. scripting, but not texturing and modelling). If you're familiar with Hunt Down the Freeman, it's the same basic idea.
I think that vertical anomaly thing is the old CoP psyfield anomaly effect retextured 1:18 These Eastern mods always have really good, innovative ideas buried in jank and user unfriendliness There'd be loads of stuff worth incorporating into Anomaly from some of these!

@@SpecShadow its a shame that custom story mods became forgotten and now everyone just creates either chaotic mess or another veraion of anomaly that will make sure you will waste time to repeair every inch of your armor/gun for it to even work
I really like the vibe. It's as if something really bad happened in the future and the zone is bigger, and like this, and most of the Stalkers perished.
So many tense/funny moments in this video, this is really impressive content especially the fact that the prequel to this video was so relatable. It really drew me in
At least you enjoyed suffering... for science ;] If you miss the mutants of R.E.B.O.R.N., the pseudogiant jumpers and the bibliothekars (the dead mutants you found) can be reactivated in Anomaly using the ZCP addon (you have it in G.A.M.M.A. I think). But beware, the bibliothekar is an almost invincible killing machine (like in Metro 2033). Thanks for sharing your journey, Cheeki Breeki.
Alright, the reason you can't go to Jupiter in first place (before doing quests for them) is because there are NPCs alive in the area, meaning you have to kill all of them to progress through the area, there's one more NPC in the gas station, wounded Noah, you have to arrive to the place quick or the pseudogiants and a flesh will come out of the rift and finish both him and you, after killing them, loot his SPSA 14, grab his additional loot and hurry for the tanker behind the gas station, there's a really good Beril armor in the lid of the tank, take it and insert two Black blood and Black Fire artifact as they will give you basically infinite stamina make you be able to carry much more. You still have to run really fast as an emission will take place after his death, its probably why the emission came quicker than you expected as pseudogiants finished him off, and, also you have to kill that Fake the trader guy too, the transition point also open up after killing him, and if you care his loots, you will get a Time Cop Gauss gun and a PKM, which will make your later game easier. The Iron Forest anomaly Lab is also a safe place to hide during emissions, if you killed all of the mutants beforehand. There's a teleporter anomaly in the ducts on the bottom level of the lab, i suggest you not to go there as it will lead you to an inescapable tunnel with loads of psy dogs, pyrogeist and beta version of Burer.
I believe the jump ablity for pseudogiant is actually an early build thing so at some point they were made to be like this lol. Also if you are around Noah's barge and emission is coming it's better to run to the pump station to the north of the map it's faster than runing to Skadovsk and it has some underground levels which can save you from an emission
You have actually been playing an "expanded" version of the mod. Not that the original was much easier or clearer but at least it would spawn you right next to Zarka so you could get on with the main story right away (dont know if it has english translation though). This one just spawns you into a random location and expects you to be familiar with the mod and its traveling mechanics. Also this is a second mod in the Reborn series (which consists of 3 mods overall), the first one is even more insane.
Yeah REBORN is quite.... experience. Old translation make it even more hilarious. Didn't play that much, only Doppelganger (had different starting level tho) where even first map was too much for my brain. Too much spiders and cat nuts. Game is about alternative realities, somethng with resurrecting KIA NPCs to progress. At least there's no NSFW skybox like in the old version...
I'm dying at "NOooo I can't move! I only have 5 FPS!" 🤣 I'm not liking the strands of lights coming off from the ground. It's something that will get old fast. I hope the player can disable those. Stalkers with arachnophobia will love this. 😱
Can you do a tutorial how to download yet another winter mod to escape from pripyat i tried once bc i saw vids and then had to reinstall bc something wrong happend and gamr crashed on start

i gotta say it seems hardcore, and i do like that. but the emptyness is sort of a deal braker for me. only big ass mutants and no factions or other stalkers at all doenst do it for me, cause the main usp of stalker for me always was how alive the zone feels with all this shit going on around you
