- Welcome to our RUclips channel, where we delve into the fascinating world of numerical methods. In this video, we unlock the power of the Gauss-Seidel method, a fundamental iterative technique used in solving linear systems of equations.
Join us as we take you on a journey through the intricacies of the Gauss-Seidel method and explore its remarkable efficiency in finding solutions to complex mathematical problems. Whether you're a student, a researcher, or simply a curious mind, this video offers valuable insights and practical knowledge to enhance your understanding of numerical analysis.
We begin by introducing the Gauss-Seidel method's underlying principles, highlighting how it differs from other iterative methods such as Jacobi. You'll discover how this method exploits the concept of successive approximations, refining solutions iteratively until convergence is achieved.
With a clear grasp of the theory, we then transition to practical examples and real-world applications. Witness the power of Gauss-Seidel as we demonstrate its effectiveness in solving systems of linear equations, especially when dealing with large matrices. Through step-by-step explanations and visual aids, you'll gain confidence in implementing the Gauss-Seidel method to tackle complex problems efficiently.

Have exam tomorrow morning and hust started studying rn and this explanation is so good i hope ill pass tomorrow lol
this is the best explanation of the method here on RUclips.... thanks man ....I even subscribed.
Thank you dear.
A day to exam at 2x speed 😅
Great video ,i understand very well thank you sooo much brother.....❤
You explanation super bro.
Thank you Sir Video Helpful
Brother, thank you so much. I was almost following a wrong explanation from a bot. And almost missed an important test. Plus the way you explained... Even a kid would understand. God bless you ❤😊😊😊
Welcome brother. I am trying my best.
Amazing explanation. Dragged it out and confused me at certain points, but at the end u will easily get the gist of it. Thanks for the class sir.
I love his teaching ❤. It makes it easy.

Your explanation is super sir
Thanku sir super ga cheparu
Nicely explain sir ❤.... Keep it up
awesome tutorial. Go ahead
Bro you speak english better than me 😂
Wanna take class🤞
This is well explanatory. Pls I need tutorial video on Solution to linear systems (Gauss method and Crout's method)
Thanks! This video indirectly also serves as a revision for Jacobi's method.
I love your lecture sir
Best explanation. Keep it Up. Very Helpful.
Thank you
From the onset Isn't this Jacobi Iteration method? Gauss Seidel method does it require checking for diagnol dominance?
Nice explain sir❤
I appreciate this
thank you man
Thank you sir 😊 🎉
Kal exam hai aur thank you so much
It helped me a lot🌸
Welcome
Solve the system of equations 8x - 3y + 2z = 20, 4x + 11y - z = 33, 6x + 3y + 12z = 36 by using Gauss Seidel Iteration method
Thanks bro make more videos related to maths its very helpful to us plz bro
Thank you so much sir 😌😌🤗
Nice explanation 🎉
Nice One tq sir 😊
Thanks a lot sir🎉
great video! thanks for the help
Welcome dear
Excellent explanation bro
Thank you❤️❤️
In second iteration you will make the mistake z1 value is 1.1931 sir but you wrote the the other one means 1.1982 sorry sir
Best explanetion ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much sir 🙏
Never seen explanation 👍
Best explanation
thank you so much
I have this problem where it says that i have to find the approximation using fixed point iteration and gauss seidel iteration, but i dont understand, isnt both the same? like using the same formula? i've been searching all over the internet but i cant recall whats the difference?
There is a slight difference in iterative solution of the two methods....
(Gauss Jacobi and Gauss Seidal)
Just have a look on general forms for iterative 1 and 2...
Observe the difference.
@@shamashama2974 Yes now i know what's the difference, but i still wondering about the question format, the question should've ask to find and compare the value approximation using "gauss jacobi and gauss seidel", not "fixed iteration and gauss seidel", because they're both the same right?
edit: here's the question
the given non linear system : x = (8x- 4x^2 + y^2 +1)/(8) y = (2x - x^2 + 4y - y^2 + 3)/(4) use the initial approximation (p0, q0) = (1.1 , 2), and compute the next 3 approximations to the fixed point using (a) fixed point iteration and (b) Seidel iteration
Great man
Thank you buddy
If a11=a12+a13 then?? Can we follow the same procedure
Did you find the solution?
well done
What is the mic that you are using brother?
Boya m1
Super broo
Can we get negative values according to the question in few iterations
Yes
Thank you sir🙏
Odisha se ho kya?
Nai.
Please give the tip to improve english speaking in professional way
Simply search on RUclips. Like you searched for this topic. Thank you
How many iteration can we do it too
Until you start getting value close to zero.
sir is the no formula you can use to find the number of iteration.
No.
Bro.. u are the best.. believe me 🥃
Jacobi and seidel are same.?
Slightly different
Sir please if number of iterations is not specified, how much do we use to resolve equations?
We need to proceed until we get value similar in two successive iteration.
Thank you sir🙏
Sir exam me scientific caculator leke ja sakte he kya
Reply me sir
Thanks អរគុណ❤
thank you😍

x + 2y + 3z = 4
6x - 4y + 5z = 10
5x + 2y + 2z = 25
I will send you the solution soon. Just send a mail at civillearningon@gmail.com
