  • In this video our Service Development Officer Lindsay provides some information about how libraries can help people living with dementia. People living with dementia their friends families and carers are very welcome in libraries. Libraries offer a safe and friendly environment where people can enjoy books find information and participate in activities.
We make it easier for people living with dementia and their informal carers to use library services by offering an exempt library card, our Home Library service brings books suited to your tastes and interests to you at home and we have books which are specially designed for people living with dementia.
We have produced an information sheet which summarises our services that help support people living with dementia and this is what it looks like. You can ask for this at your local library or email Lindsay at lindsay.prestage@kent.gov.uk
