That playoff hole by Dustin.....that drive and sticking that wedge.....wow....game over....that was sweet.
Heck yah, especially that drive!
When DJ can bomb drives like he did on 18, it begs to wonder why he didnt do it before the playoff also. Game management and all that yes I know but it wasnt even a risk going for it, he will always clear the water.
franz beck ya know i was wondering that exact same thing....but it seemed to me he thought..."
Ok play time is over....its been fun but time to wrap things up so ill just fly this water and wedge it in" haha!😃
think the wind was in his face but switch to his back for the playoff so decided to go over the pond
matt m ahhh okay makes sense then.
That drive over the lake to win will be a part of television high-light video for years to come.
Best highlights on the ENTIRE PLANET.
Love this stuff. When DJ throws that big haymaker of a drive on the final hole I thought that was the shot of week. He was smart enough to know he had the right wind and certainly had the shot in his bag. It could have been a Tin Cup moment but Trevino always said you got to play to win. Bold move and it paid off.
Love the reaction from Faldo. “He’s taking it over the lake!” 😲 😂
love how people complained about how "unfair" this playoff hole was. no one hit the ball where dustin did all week. he absoloutely smoked one and took advantage of the hole. the reason spieth is so good is because of putting and he can stick it from as far out as he was. two very different golfers, but the same fair game.
Man, he smoked that drive in sudden death! I don't think any other golfer cleared that pond in this whole tournament.
Yeah, because no one else had the sack or the length to even try.
was Woodland or Finau playing(both are longer)....there a lots....they just dont make putts when they need to.
D.J. drills a 310 carry on the playoff hole. . .
. . . sorry Jordan.
DrSlinkyWW Jordan can carry it 310
290 wouldve cleared that water btw...DJ just has balls from the Coke.(#cokecourage)
Have you seen someone on coke? Observe DJ's mannerisms during a round and it is clear this man does not snort n play. He moves like a sloth out there.
Jordan never recovered from this, DJ took his heart
Hack To Scratch Golf no he can not actually
When McCord giggles its takes me back to Tiger-like performances.
You know he had a good round when the highlight video is nearly 14 minutes long!
haha so true. The highlights of my life would be less!
13:04 I’m a diehard Spieth fan but I couldn’t even be mad this tournament made me a DJ fan too. That was the filthiest tee shot I’ve ever seen
Jordan put his head down the minute he saw DJ’s line over the lake. It was over that second.
So much more fun when DJ is in the mix. Love watching him stripe drives.
DJ was on fire!!
13:04 when you're just on a different level
DJ on playoff drive aim directly over the lake and picks up his tee before seeing it land like a boss. The least bit concerned on distance.
I have a signed Taylormade Tour bag signed by Dustin, Jason, and Sergio. Hoping DJ will keep the #1 spot. I was hyped to see him win this.
This man right here has ice in his veins. To hit that drive in the playoff and throw a dart like that to like 2 feet?! This man right here? Pressure don't mean a thing.
I was rooting for DJ, Spieth is such a whinner, always crying, complaining to his caddy, taking forever to make a shot, a real pita, so happy DJ won. Great playoff, great game!
Love Dottie Pepper .. love DJ .. love golf
One of the most entertaining tournaments possibly since last years British Open.
PunisherKid sorry but at least it was memorable and Phil played super well when the rest of the field wasn't
something about his swing always makes me think he is going to slice it..
Such an awesome player though - gotta love DJ
awesome drive on 18, terrific birdy, congrats.
DJ the fucking man
Its funny how at the beginning of the round they keep saying he needs to make some thing happen and he is pounding huge drives right in the fairway. The reason same reason he wins in the playoff. Hitting 4 clubs up your opponent seems to be an advantage that wears on the competition even if they are the best putter.
Tommy Armour always said that the player with a good short game could easily win over long hitting opponents. That is if the long hitter isn't hitting greens with wedges, and having every putt within makeable distance. Jordan's beaten him before, being 30 yards behind. Zach Johnson's won against him, and other long hitters, by being accurate with the short game. It's Dustin's wedge play that made him number 1 in the world, not his driving. The driver may be hit at max 14 times a round, not considering off the deck on a long par 5. If Dustin couldn't get up and down, and if he couldn't hit his wedges onto the green within 30 feet like he does, he'd be toast.
Incredible
Jordan just got straight dominated in that playoff
Generational players. Will go down being one of the top 5 players all time. He's 33 and only improving.
Imagine them making a highlight video this long a year later. It went from 10 plus minutes to 5 minutes of missed putts.
13:22 That moment I realized that my favorite golfer was doomed!
@KT 13:06 is when DJ supposed to apologise to Jordan
Spieth could never lmaoooo
DUSTON TREVINO
When they were on 15 (thereabouts), one of the announcers said DJ's distance would be a non-factor over the last 3 holes lmao!
Goddamn, that basically makes up for the 2 US Opens!
And that’s how you win
230 yards with a five iron.. I used to think these numbers are inflated but then I stood next to a guy who hit the same lenght with a six iron and he didn't even deloft the club.
STEEEVVVEEE CUURRRRIIINNNN!! Bahah that guys the best🤣😂
Should be a one shot penalty for going over the lake on that drive! Just kidding but Spieth must have crapped himself when he saw that drive!
Lol. Are there always mouthy clowns in the crowd?😂
10:12 he sent that divot to the moon
Wtf? At 12:31 He looks away from the ball before he hits it. I've never seen that before
진짜
졸라 멋있다
0:31 Oh! OOooooooHHHHHHH Yeah
Just imagine if this guy could putt...
imagine if he could putt
He's back bitches...
Too bad, I wanted Jordan to win.
It's all over him.. look, it's on his pants, its on his shirt... it's in his hat... lol
anyone else sign up for that DJsweepstakes?
1:19 looked like it was going on the other side of the trees
Why were they rooting against Spieth they're not supposed to pick sides
Boss
If DJ had Spieth's putting he would be unstoppable! Better than TWoods in his prime.
... Hoping that's a joke.
If he played consistently well then yeah
Haha, right. So if he was better, he'd be better.
If he had JSpieth's putting ability/short game
So if you combined the two best attributes of the top two players in the world, then they might be better than Tiger Woods in his prime? Way to go out on a limb. Still debatable, though... TW had a better short game than Spieth does right now, and the stats back that up.

He ain't no tiger
DJ not playing fair on the playoff hole.
Less talking from Dottie would be appreciated
Spieth didn't actually think he was gonna win, did he?
Sloppy, high-shoulders stance, receding hairline, goofy cut-off follow-through versussssssss a guy who hits 350 on a string. Hmmmmmmmm
Last time I checked 3 majors is better than 1
Brett Rose damn man savage lol😃
The guy who is hitting 350 on a string is hitting a lot more than that! Have you seen his wife, Pauline? lol
Not just that be he gets half of the Gretzky money lol.
first
Frankie Gregory, Good one! lol
