Hello! We'd just like to point out a minor error in depiction of ion channels. The ion channels remain open when the voltage changes instead of the opening and closing consistently which is incorrect.
This is one of the best videos that I've ever watched about the ideas of the nervous system. It's so simple and very easy for kids to understand. I'm a science teacher and I will definitely use this in my classroom (Thank you Science ABC).
What a magnificent design. A magnificent machine has been created that works at a speed that can calculate and react to split-seconds that are vital for us.
Thank you so much, creators and teachers of ABC Science channel, for teaching learners understand the scientific process and what cannot be seen by the naked eye.
This a very fundamental way to understand how Neurons work! it is a one cool video, whoever, he or she create this video, they are such a logical genius! Thank you, for your contribution to help our society for accelerate to input this knowledge into our little tiny neurons in the brain!😊🧠👏
i knew i'd learn something. i didn't know the mechanism of action of myelin sheath's role in speeding nerve impulses. now i know it's due to a phenomenon called saltatory conduction.
Basic question is how the memory is stored. Example in computers it is stored as zeros and ones. In brain even though neurons passes electric signals where is an information stored is it like a branch of neurons sticked together or some other way. Anyone interested can join a research on this decoding.
Means seriously 🌟💯 How can it be explained sooo good , amazing animation 100/100 Honestly don't have words to express my thanks 👍 You made neuroscience interesting for me like I smile while getting lecture from here Amazing 🤩 experience Keep it up Good Job
I use to think about things like that as a kid. Like how does my brain tell my hand to move so fast. People called me crazy or weird for talking about it.
please i need a smart guy i don't understand: a neuron fires when enough positive potatium ions gets in then it lets out sodium ions and later recharge by extracting the potatium ions outside and letting the sodium in, so how the next neurons will get fired up too if the first neuron only emit sodium ions in his hyper polarization phase ?
I watched a video about binary code and i watched this, seems our brain is made up of smaller simpler computers which add up to one computing machine, while our computers are just computers..
If everything is doing by themselves, all mv volts power generated and signal passing through minimum threshold and electrical signal pass , how I'm the one who's thinking this idea? And thinking that memory or taking important decision in my life, it feels like I've no control, everything is doing automatically and I'm just having delusion of free will
Yeah, God is opening the sodium gates? Where did God come into being? It actually dispels the whole premise of God. How come this all isn't mentioned in the Bible or any religious book for that matter? Why give God any credit? Our assumptions of such existence are false.

sad that i cant understand every thing youre saying in the video my english is not that good and i cant find a informative video about neurons like this in my language

Ahahahaha wtf ikr
I regret seeing this comment before watching the video. 😂
wth- really thx for telling otherswise I'd hv to watch the entire thing to find out

@@zaakiraha2047I'm in grade 6 learing this lol
to the ones who completely comprehended it, congrats; you unlocked one of the hardest topic of 21st chapter of class 11th biology.
Your channel is undervalued :((
You’ve the best channel of science
Great effort!, Loved the content at every second❤️
Wonderful clear demonstration of the system thank you so much
This is the type of info people should be interested in. Not tik took or instagram.

that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have fun🌛
Amazing explanation 💯💯
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks dude you're making my study easier ❤️
my brain is learning about itself
So meta 🤯
omg how did my brain not think about that for me
Lol
This was such a helpful video for my quiz tomorrow, thank you so much!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Best video ever, Thank you
right now, we are technically just a bunch of neurons trying to find out how neurons work
Thanks for helping me get through Neurology class with this vid
Glad to hear it!
Thank you for your very warm and clear reading voice. This video helps me a lot. Really like this channel.
Glad you enjoy it!

I've been extremely bummed out about my Neuroscience program thinking I was stupid for being unable to understand these, but this video helps a lot.
🤣🤣🤣
Wow that’s really amazing explaining
This science animation is extremely well-made, concise, and clear.
thx
Great job producing this video. Great job Neurons.
Very nicely done ☺️🎉
Thank you! 😊
Awesome channel for a quick learn
Thank you so much for this super explanation
Great video and very useful animations, thank you for this great content!
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
This is the best way to teaching
My brain wants to know how it works at the same time it works on its own because it knows how it works. 🤣
😂❤❤so hilarious
Thank you very interesting 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Awesome information 🎉🎉
Sooooooo amazing! Thank yoy🙏🏻
You made the information of the Neran understandable
How is it created, the electric impulses?
I loved this
Very well explained!🥺♥️
Great animation

Fascinating. Would this subject be called Neuroscience if you wanted to study it? Incredible. Nodes of Ranvier were my favourite.
It indeed is Neuroscience :).

Thank u very much sir 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
Good video
Not undrstood It so mich but It is a fantastic video for a basic knowledge about neuron sistem
Very good
Good very good ❤
Thank you so much. You explained it very well. Now I can also sleep haha
Love this! Such a great video. I made a neuron song that is kinda catchy!
How smart our bodies are
Higher concentration of potassium ions still negative charge in the inner surface? Someone please explain
Can you give me a vidoe about the parts of the brain 🧠
I use to think about things like that as a kid. Like how does my brain tell my hand to move so fast. People called me crazy or weird for talking about it.
A neuron is the basic structural and functional unit of the nervous system .
Too difficult for me 😢
Same
If you too didn't understand a thing please like this cm.
wow looks so funny plus i heard people say neuron and now i understand
please i need a smart guy

So bascally the nerve system is like a batery/computer.
I don’t remember this EP of family guy?

So, just like electronics, the brain's functionality is based on electron manipulation..
My brain program is writen in ions binary
why does this look like family guy. of course if family guy had noodle arms
