I'm poor so I'm always used to playing 1000 point games lol I think theyre quite fun. 2000 just has so much going on. I like the smaller skirmish style
Try adding a cryptek (i use Orikan to give the unit 4++ invuln) add 2 cryptothralls to have 4 4+fnps (they can reanimate as if they are part of the warriors blob) and have an overlord to give a free strat (reanimate) and also to reanimate in the players turn. He can also have the enhancement that gives them stealth and cover. If you follow the unit with a ghost ark, they can reanimate once a phase and you could then get away with a blob of 10 warriors that just wont die
Honestly I think Ork turn 4 should have stayed in the fight and charged Everyone in. The extra attacks could have maybe killed the big unit in the middle and possibly survive the next shooting.
13:40 Question: Are you allowed to assign the Wound to models in cover to get the Benefit of Cover, but then later assign the damage to models that didn’t have Benefit of Cover?
@@Snowman_Style sorry but thats entirely wrong. its the other way around. models receive benefit of cover and you assign wounds on one model till it dies then rince and repeat for next model until no more wounds left to assign.
You must assign wounds to models that are in cover if you take the save on those models in cover. Alternatively you could take saves on models that aren’t in cover first
@@Snowman_Styleincorrect. In the core rules for ruins and benefits of cover are applied to model/models. That basically just means vehicles get cover other than that it’s 9th rules for cover kinda.
Technically, the gretchin don't start controlling the objective until the end of the command phase so you don't get to roll for the Thievin' Scavengers first phase.
Dave is if Mr Incredible played warhammer. What a decent chap.
This is how i like to play 40k with my friends, its about the memes, the plays and making sure no one feels bad. Great sportsmanship and a great game.
Absolutely love 1000pts games. So much fun!
Finally more orks! At 1k points too definitely help me view 10th in a better light
1000pts are awesome as you have to make harder choices, and the loss of a unit is more serious
As a guard player, even at incursion level games, I can fit enough vehicles in my list to make me happy
85% of my groups games are @1000 points, it's my favorite version of the game.
Orks orks orks orks, can never have enough orks! WAAAGH!

I LOVE this size battle
I think right move was stormboyz charge alongside with warboss + nobz.
Almost guaranteed warriors kiil, and maybe even Technomancer.
Love your orks Dave! Better luck next time.
terrain look amazing
Ive been playing against my space marine buddy, and he melts my 20 warrior unit. Ive never been able to be as survivable as I see in those videos
try putting em in transports

Kopta Rokkits have twin-linked. Don't know why some weapons got multiplied and others just became twin.

in 10th MODELS dont receive cover UNITS do
Yes, you can assign wounds to models like that. But that one model must keep taking wounds until it is destroyed or that round of shooting is done.

Love the duel!
Great video
That was a fun game 🎉
Again Luka's dice ate loaded beginning of the game 3 5+ fnp on one guy
Well if this should really be the army from the twice dead king I see 5 lychguard to much and 1 pylon to thew
Wasteing a Tachyon Arrow on a Nob...It worked out for the best but wow...

Gambits should be secret. You wouldn't tell your enemy that you are changing plans right?
they really should be.
Did you say you had 5+ reanimated at 48 min?
Purge the Foe is awesome for Crons terrible for Orks.
Have orks ever been good?
They are as good as your dice rolling :-) they are massive fun to play if you put yourself in character
Just.... WAAAAGH!
Oltex ftw: yay.
Turn four orks was so sad. That's not how orks play.. Wish I could find a channel that makes fluffy fun decisions instead of obsessing over winning
Only issue I saw was in 10th edition you cannot stand on objectives.
