Neal if you wanna know what tactics I've found for this formation they are unreal , I've not lost 1 game in 25 games today and I'm just an average player. Some sort of glitch I've found I think
The tactics are the same as your 4231 but it's the instructions what Ive used Which makes this formation

He doesn't cause it doesn't work. Just use 3-4-2-1 and fall back to prevent as much rushes through the middle.

@@hussamkj403 And whatever you do. FIFA has a habit to let your defenders stand on one line which is how defense is not supposed to be played ever. Try to avoid that scenario whenever you can.
I used this 5-4-1 long time ago it was great and I put RB and LB into “join attack” and CM “get forward” and ST “stay forward” and other put come on defense. I used this before you
I’m going to have to start using this, I’ll be leading 2-0 then suddenly the momentum switches in the 30-35th minute and they win every 50/50

I’ve actually had to come here and look at what is goin on as I’m facing some very annoying ppl with 5 back. So many annoying things ppl are doing now, stupid kick off glitches, playing Kane and Diaby who are absolutely cracked which is ridiculous and now this nonsense. Ppl don’t play the game the right way no more ffs

Bro, I’ve been always watching your videos and they helped me a lot but you have this video from 13-14 days ago where you were talking about the 4-2-3-1 I was always struggling when I was playing with it I don’t know if it’s the instructions or tactics but when I was playing on The other formations your provided it was going well and the 5-4-1 is really good and I'm on the new gen
I use 541 since forever, but on slightly different custom settings, with side midfielders going to the centre and both midfielders staying back. All you need for 5-4-1 is just good wingbacks (Bale! -basically offensive, but with great defensive stats as well, Lima opposite site, I went this year heavy MLS, Mitoma and Trippier for Premieship and so on). 5-4-1 easy switches to 5-3-2 to centralise.
The weakness is in my case that I accidentally too often trigger forward run for the most central defender, so I just started playing someone with great dribbling and passing in middle CB
A pity you made this video, now everybody would use it :( This is the end of my counter of most "metas" used now in my lower divisions :(
I also noticed a lot of peaple don't like this formation as it is tricky to use with player realative player switching (at least players on my low level :P). With ball relative player switching AND adaptive switching playing is ver convienient
Works great in Rivals but sucks in Champs Qualifiers. All I get is players sending a through ball to their striker and he's gone, not catchable and it's just repeat. What is this tactic and how do you recommend stopping it?

Using TOTS Davies and Showdown Meunier on wing back as they have good work rates on both attacking and defending and are technically wingers, perfect for Bundesliga Cup

its not even true that this formation is best used for wing play. i used this formation a lot in f21 and it was always my go to 5atb if i ever felt the need to play it ( even tho i hate it ) and the key in this formation are the two CMs. the CMs BOTH need to go forward and make runs into the box. the wide players make the game wide, the ST is your targetman and the CMs play around him making runs into the space you create. the CMs have to be midfielders which are really good attacking wise f.e. Bernardo Silva ( i remember back in F21 Paqueta being cracked af for me ), you dont mind defensive issues because you have a 5 back. sure you can do some wing play but this is definetly not the formation if wingplay is your prefered way of playing.

also, i myself basically only create through the mid and im a rank 2/1 player, just yday finished r1 again with a bundesliga only 433 . playerbase always acts like you have to play a certain way which is not true, bad players have to play a certain way to have a bigger chance of winning a game. i play since 2003 and never abused any shit yet played on a very high level. back to f21, i didnt use the bridge move once because i dont support things that shouldnt be in the game and i would be ashamed to use them just to get more wins in a game. f23 corner bycicle kicks? never tried never will.
truth about this game and the community is: the game is designed to help bad players and give mechanics / AI support .. and easily 90% of the playerbase are not well understanding players.

Hello, can you help me with something?
When i tackle, i have to work for it and i need to win 3 tackles to get the ball because it always bounces back to him or his teammates. When i attack, they just take it from me even when standing behind me. I`m playing Fifa for years and i´m probably stuck to the old ways and i´m in division 3, but it´s so frustrating. It feels like i have to work for everything while my oponent is "just holding x"
