Will SK be happier if Hybe leaves the country and takes all that talent, income and tourism with them? BTS, together with Hybe, elevated and accelerated the K-wave, this is how their country repays them…what a shame.
Every country has clown politicians. BTS leaving Korea will do nothing. Just watch the US Congress when they have hearings. Remember when the US Gov't tried to ban Tiktok? Or remember when they had a hearing about aliens? Governments are always clown shows no matter what country you live in.
I have come to realize that a lot of people behave like drones. They follow their own interests and do not stray from that, no matter if they get conflicting reports or knowledge. If it satisfies something in them at that moment, they follow it to the bitter end. Politicians are the same everywhere, no matter the country, so this is no surprise.
All these SK companies see HYBE as a threat because HYBE tries to not mix up with domestic corporations as much as they can and tries to create their own because of the shady practices by all these korean corporations. And since SK is just like any other leading country that runs on domestic linkages and connections like you see in kdrama, HYBE is disrupting the usual business practices. These corporations hate the fact that HYBE is doing well in the market. And so, for the past year that BTS returned to military, these guys have been trying to hard to destroy HYBE before BTS returns. Because to them, by 2025, BTS would have lost all their fans like most group do after military service. And you can see just how panicked they are especially after realizing that Armys are still around in the background. They messed with Suga and found out the hard way. Jin returned and they got a taste of Armys' power and now Jhope is back as well, so these corporations are even working twice as much. Like Suga's case would have taught the world something. Do you all think HYBE wouldnt have pulled string or stopped JTBC from reporting on a fake video after knowing of it, or do you think Hybe wouldnt have posted the video of the reall footage if they could? Only when it comes to stupid things that you all would suggest that Hybe is controlling the media. The same media that is destroying them! Nonsense! SK poloticians and corporations have dedicated their time to spread false rumors about HYBE and misinterpret its actions to damage its reputation, portraying it as corrupt and unprofessional. This is a strategy to protect their market share and maintain influence, hoping to weaken HYBE's position and stop it from growing internationally. This national assembly just shows how corrupt South Korea and their politicians is.

Because kpop stands aren’t really interested in the well being of idols. Or music. Or a better future. Or anything other than “winning”. The fact that SM / Kakao continues to thrive after what they’ve done to their idols is proof of this.

They were both positive and negative- basically just reporting examples of what fans are saying for a marketing strategy meeting. National Assembly only pulled out the negative comments and suggested they were Hybe comments. They weren’t. This is beyond irresponsible to manipulate the document and present it as something completely different than the truth. As Fairlane said it is unbelievable.

I was an elementary school teacher, no business experience at all, and I couldn't believe that a politician did not understand that HYBE collected comments(data) online from "fans" about their artists to see how they are being perceived by their audience and that they reviewed those comments and wrote a report. Are they truly that dense or do they have a different motive? Neither of these possible reasons is positive for the members of this National Assembly.
I was flabbergasted, not just because of the politician's lack of comprehension, but because of his aggressive and combative demeanor. The politician barely let the Belift CEO finish a sentence without launching attacks that totally missed the point. And I suppose the protocol is such that the CEO had to remain polite and deferential, but I was yelling at the screen. It was surreal.

A lot of what I am seeing is that people are getting their information from Twitter, TickTock or RUclips without doing fact checking. This is exactly what happened with Yoongi in the media. OK but MHJ had this document way back in April. It was referenced in the "7 sins of HYBE" plan they found on the VP's laptop. The "7 sins of HYBE" was a list of talking points MHJ was going to use on HYBE. Item #1 was ILLit copying and so-called "unfair competition" (aka HYBE dared to debut another girl group while New Jeans existed). The fan sentiment report announced in the National Assembly was item #7. So HYBE knew she had this from way back. MHJ went through all the item numbers crossing them off one by one. What comes after item 7? I guess we'll find out. Adding: Anyway, the point is that we don't know if MHJ currently has minions in HYBE because she had this document a long time ago. I mean, she probably does have moles but if HYBE tries to go after them, they'll just get slammed for being an evil corporation.

The national assembly and that assemblyman who couldn't understand that the report was simply documenting hate comments should make a public apology for their misinterpretation of the report and for contributing to the slander they caused HYBE. Also, HYBE should be allowed to repost their original statement. While I was a comment on a RUclips channel repeating what that assemblyman said, the video was taken down as I was typing. It had only been up for an hour and there were almost 10,000 views. The damage was already done.

One of the things we can do immediately and directly is to not get hook up in ANY hate conversations about any idol. No matter what their fans or antis have planned with those tactics, the artist does not deserve these kind of conversations about them. Supporting our boys or girls and loudly cheering their achievements is a better way to use our resources. The hard part is seeing a series of hate comments and refraining, but I think exposing these people in our community to avoid any interaction with their nonsense might be better.

It could be a good temporary base for JHope as he rests, works, and explores his options. BTS has talked about building a Bangtan Village where they are all close but have their own spaces. Any current and future family would more easily have each other's support. A compound such as this would make it more efficient for security as well. This would be much easier to do in the US where land is cheaper. Also, fans here have no problem with artists having romantic partners... we expect it and usually celebrate it. We think it is odd if they don't have a love life/family life. VIVA Las BTS?! They seem to enjoy the Las Vegas area... and they can easily get to LA from there ... or maybe also an east coast compound... with the gorgeous forests around New England which puts them in easy access to NYC but can easily have a large isolated area to themselves.

My daughters live in NH and RI. We are a military family going back generations and so have lived a lot of places... but I especially love the Appalachians from western SC up to Pennsylvania... and while New England isn't technically a part of that range parts of it have a very similar feel. I'm stuck in coastal SC for now... and it has it's charms but I really love the mountains and would like to live in New England one day.... but I hope to visit again soon.

I had not been able to see the scandal properly because I was busy. Today I look at RUclips and ALL THE CHANNELS are reporting on the document as if it were the company's thoughts. Would love if they can restructure & work the business magic I do not understand - to clear revenue from SK taxation (or limit it to a little as possible for company, staff & members... It is a standard PROFESSIONAL practice to SAMPLE PUBLIC COMMENTS from consumers practiced by ALL entertainment companies INCLUDING SM / KAKAO, YG, JYP. Most working professional adults know this.
Bunnies sent these comments to the assembly via email, are you one of them? If you know anything about business, it’s a common practice to sample public comments on your product. This will give the business an idea of what the customer desires.
Such reports are only FOR the comments collecting company only (for future improvements purposes) and NOT for outside review (who have NO rights to such reports) which when leaked to outsiders who are now illegally making all kinds of malicious comments for reputation degrading purposes!!

Hybe has been hated by the many kpop agency after they create a petition and tried to get a an extended military time ( can push it till age 30 like jin ) and was upset because bts was being used as an example and need to get a merit award like them to get those extended time.. If it was just clipping comments from the net, thus all publically available, why did Hybe want the document pulled? I'm curious about the time period it covers too. Is it a weeks worth? A Months' worth or what? Are they saying all two thousand pages are nothing but Netizens' comments? Another thing is the poor guy from Be-lift. He looked scared, but what does he have to be scared of? Be-lift isn't accused of anything. He's just a spectator, although I'm not sure how he got to pinch hit. I have come to realize that a lot of people behave like drones. They follow their own interests and do not stray from that, no matter if they get conflicting reports or knowledge. If it satisfies something in them at that moment, they follow it to the bitter end. Politicians are the same everywhere, no matter the country, so this is no surprise.

All these SK companies see HYBE as a threat because HYBE tries to not mix up with domestic corporations as much as they can and tries to create their own because of the shady practices by all these korean corporations.
And since SK is just like any other leading country that runs on domestic linkages and connections like you see in kdrama, HYBE is disrupting the usual business practices. These corporations hate the fact that HYBE is doing well in the market. And so, for the past year that BTS returned to military, these guys have been trying to hard to destroy HYBE before BTS returns. Because to them, by 2025, BTS would have lost all their fans like most group do after military service.
And you can see just how panicked they are especially after realizing that Armys are still around in the background. They messed with Suga and found out the hard way. Jin returned and they got a taste of Armys' power and now Jhope is back as well, so these corporations are even working twice as much.

They were both positive and negative- basically just reporting examples of what fans are saying for a marketing strategy meeting. National Assembly only pulled out the negative comments and suggested they were Hybe comments. They weren’t. This is beyond irresponsible to manipulate the document and present it as something completely different than the truth. As Fairlane said it is unbelievable.

I was an elementary school teacher, no business experience at all, and I couldn't believe that a politician did not understand that HYBE collected comments(data) online from "fans" about their artists to see how they are being perceived by their audience and that they reviewed those comments and wrote a report. Are they truly that dense or do they have a different motive? Neither of these possible reasons is positive for the members of this National Assembly.
I was flabbergasted, not just because of the politician's lack of comprehension, but because of his aggressive and combative demeanor. OK but MHJ had this document way back in April. It was referenced in the "7 sins of HYBE" plan they found on the VP's laptop. The "7 sins of HYBE" was a list of talking points MHJ was going to use on HYBE. Item #1 was ILLit copying and so-called "unfair competition" (aka HYBE dared to debut another girl group while New Jeans existed). The fan sentiment report announced in the National Assembly was item #7. So HYBE knew she had this from way back. MHJ went through all the item numbers crossing them off one by one. What comes after item 7? I guess we'll find out.
Adding: Anyway, the point is that we don't know if MHJ currently has minions in HYBE because she had this document a long time ago. I mean, she probably does have moles but if HYBE tries to go after them, they'll just get slammed for being an evil corporation.

That document is perfectly normal for any company to have to do a benchmark. You study what people think to make your product (in this case artists) evolve in a direction that will please them or to create a new product that is wanted. This is a basic marketing tool I learned in my first year of college. All companies do this

The national assembly and that assemblyman who couldn't understand that the report was simply documenting hate comments should make a public apology for their misinterpretation of the report and for contributing to the slander they caused HYBE. Also, HYBE should be allowed to repost their original statement. While I was a comment on a RUclips channel repeating what that assemblyman said, the video was taken down as I was typing. It had only been up for an hour and there were almost 10,000 views. The damage was already done.

At this crucial moment not only fans of other fandoms, company and government officials but also fans of some hybe grps, solo stans are attacking and making things hard for Hybe. Don't take part attack ot hate trains which are created to Destroy Hybe. The moment they make Hybe look like a corrupted company, all achievements earned by our favourite groups will be a laughing stock to them. We believe in our artists and we should stay united till the end. Don't jump to a conclusion without any context. Some fandom from other companies may show some support and and act as if they care for Hybe groups but that's nonsense. The minute something happens to Hybe, no one gonna believe its artists. One of the things we can do immediately and directly is to not get hook up in ANY hate conversations about any idol. No matter what their fans or antis have planned with those tactics, the artist does not deserve these kind of conversations about them. Supporting our boys or girls and loudly cheering their achievements is a better way to use our resources. The hard part is seeing a series of hate comments and refraining, but I think exposing these people in our community to avoid any interaction with their nonsense might be better.

They can easily have homes in SK and the west. It doesn't have to even be the US... Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or even the EU are options.. but given their profession... the US is convenient for them for now.
All I care about is their safety and peace. BSH bought Trevor Noah's mansion. Both he and other Hybe executives have used it so I assume they have good security in place there. It could be a good temporary base for JHope as he rests, works, and explores his options.
BTS has talked about building a Bangtan Village where they are all close but have their own spaces. Any current and future family would more easily have each other's support. A compound such as this would make it more efficient for security as well.
This would be much easier to do in the US where land is cheaper. Also, fans here have no problem with artists having romantic partners... we expect it and usually celebrate it. We think it is odd if they don't have a love life/family life.
VIVA Las BTS?! They seem to enjoy the Las Vegas area... and they can easily get to LA from there ... or maybe also an east coast compound... with the gorgeous forests around New England which puts them in easy access to NYC but can easily have a large isolated area to themselves.

My daughters live in NH and RI. We are a military family going back generations and so have lived a lot of places... but I especially love the Appalachians from western SC up to Pennsylvania... and while New England isn't technically a part of that range parts of it have a very similar feel. I'm stuck in coastal SC for now... and it has it's charms but I really love the mountains and would like to live in New England one day.... but I hope to visit again soon.

I'm not sure we know the true nature of that document. If it was just clipping comments from the net, thus all publically available, why did Hybe want the document pulled? I'm curious about the time period it covers too. Is it a weeks worth? A Months' worth or what? Are they saying all two thousand pages are nothing but Netizens' comments?
Another thing is the poor guy from Be-lift. He looked scared, but what does he have to be scared of? Be-lift isn't accused of anything. He's just a spectator, although I'm not sure how he got to pinch hit. It's also strange that he was very careful to say the document didn't represent Be-lift's views. If it's just net clippings, it wouldn't represent his views anyway. If he's distancing himself from Hybe on this, wouldn't that mean there's something other than just clips he's referencing and wants it on the record he didn't have anything to do with it?
What if, say, someone says "Hybe is going to let New Jeans wither away" on the net. What if Hybe is saying we have to counter this not because it's false, but because its true but they can't let that be established? There may be a lot of misinterpretations on the net, but what if there's enough coming close to the truth that they have to figure how to counter those? Did ol' Bang send someone Who Didn't Know about the document (and wouldn't this be a document submitted to all the CEOs since it concerns all their groups?) because Bang possibly knew he might be asked about this or any other question concerning NJ, etc, and sent someone who would have no idea of the particulars, or does and is scared he's going to be asked questions he doesn't want to have to answer.
All conjectures and scenarios at this point, but my conjectures are as valid as the pro-Hybe propaganda and certainly less far-fetched than the idea that MHJ is spending her time dreaming up ways to badmouth BTS.
