I love this card idea, Rosa! Gingerbread houses and people are some of my favorite Christmas elements! I used to be great at sending cards for every occasion BEFORE I started papercrafting, lol. Now, I feel like everyone expects a spectacular handmade card from me and between the pressure and time it takes to make them, I only do so for a select few. I need to start mass making cards so that I am better prepared! Maybe that will be one of my goals in 2024…🤔👍🏼👏🏼😍
Everyone loves receiving a pop up card - so easy - yes I really enjoy making Christmas cards - I like taking time - 1 day during the year - perhaps March - or June ( less busy time) to make them. It’s a joyful time less stress. Lots more fun to just sign and send out in December. Fun seeing months later what I created 💖
Cute project! I agree with everyone else in believing that everyone loves a pop-up and this is really cute. I got some little things from the dollar bins at target that I think I can use for this project. I do a few Christmas cards I just never have a time to really sit down and do quite a lot of them. I should probably do more. In my younger days, I always gave out cards, then that kinda fluffed off with it or just bought boxed cards I would like to make a few more for like people I know who appreciate a homemade card. Right now I'm working with literally a suitcase full of craft stuff, a small desk, and a TV tray; there's no room to design and mass produce. But this card would be an excellent 2024 Happy New Year pop up card. Hmmmm I'll have make these once i get to my house!
