Someone has to understand at some point that they're the ones that are making kids dirty minded whenever they inevitably look up why completely normal words are censored.
The word "furry" is mainly used to describe how things look such as saying "That's a very furry fox" and if the word hoe is LITERALLY a gardening tool that is IN THE GAME. Along with this, the word "ass" is another name for a donkey.

Clarification has been made on that EULA; rather than anything new getting added, unstated terms being made explicit in writing doesn't mean they were added. Most of the changes were just rephrasings. They made it more obvious what they mean rather than changing it. Their enforcement of the EULA is a separate issue.

The PC gaming community also seemed to live long enough to become a villian, but not as bad as consoles. PC is more of a villian with redeemable qualities, an anti-hero if you will. And good luck trying to find a PC game that hasnt been shut down (usally died a hero, but skmetimes shut down because it went to crap), screwed over/went to crap, or has a userbase that can take a joke and has guides to help you do stuff avalable on google. And I think it should be a federal crime to have AI tools constantly scanning other games' files and code for similarities just so you can false DMCA any upcoming competitors. they are an overreach that should not be tolerated.

I’d draw the line at the server actually being publicly available. If it has a whitelist that you can apply for, there should be basic community guidelines so you know what you’re getting into, and if it’s fully private then like no it should be free
This is why I stay humbly back in older versions via modding: I can customize my experience how I want when I want. Without all of this control and restriction being put into our game.

Mojang actually changes your username if they don't like it. Someone named "MojangSucks" got it changed to "NoWeDon't".
Microsoft on the other hand changes peoples usernames to random strings of letters and numbers, then charges 10 bucks to let you change it to something sensible. Probably more than 10 bucks now.
Also watch out for Microsoft's "free name change" scam (on xbox network). You don't get to pick your new name (so random string again) then have to pay to change it to something sensible.

Age verification in UK (and I think New Zealand and Australia as well) is enforced by their government(s). But anything outside would be Microsoft's own initiative. Possibly before other governments introduce similar laws as UK, NZ and AU. Just like Discord is trying to do right now (though thanks to users backlash they postponed it for now).

there's also an addon i use called advanchat, and one of its optional features is turning off the chat filter, apparently. dunno how they did that.
