so I definitely want to move there and Im starting to keep up with the news of that area...and the murders that have been occuring there over the past year seem to be on a trend...I have been watching youtube videos on the news reports and documentary type videos, interviews of neighbors who have found a dead body wrapped in a blanket, as well as a fairly recent murder in the El Paso jail annex and something also about a teenage girl who got murdered and some other footage of murders and violent crimes, also a woman from mexico who was dismembering bodies including hearts and then offering the hearts onto a public alter that had an painted mural image of Guadalupe. These and others are all in the news and based on the details of the crimes its thought that the crimes all are related to the cartels. To me thats excited as hell lmao I cant wait to go.

interesting! Great channel and context. I have followed this channel for a while when pandemic started. Your channel gives a lot of values to the ppl who were/currently are looking to move to El Paso. we lived in Houston back then and both of us could work remotely. So we traveled all over the US to find out a place where we could potentially move to. El Paso, Denver, Austin, Portland, Orlando, Seattle were all on our list. But we end up move to Seattle for the scenery and the tech job. Of course we visited so many other cities as well. The reason we didn't move to El Paso is the jobs. We know the pandemic would end and to find a high paid job in the local market is critical. Other cons factors we considered were the climate, border town, convivence(I don't think I could live in an area without a lot of great authentic Asian restaurants lol) . I think we would reconsider El Paso again when we retire along with Phoenix, Orlando, even internationally.

Ah....if everyone and their uncle puts in a bid on homes under 200k, that means that's what most people can afford. So sad there is very little out there for 80% of Americans.

El Paso wants to expand but yet infrastructure cannot support the expansion. Expansion of roads are taking ages to be completed. Project has begun but halts midway. Contracts for road expansions are dropped leaving unfinished roads creating extreme traffic in new residential areas. Schools, homes, and businesses are being built but roads does not support them. What is the county and city of El Paso doing? We are paying taxes and higher taxes as times goes by but yet the city and county of El Paso does nothing to improve El Paso.

    Taxes are high
    The crime is going up

El Paso crime is bad compared to what city? There are migrants, and they stay within a 2 block radius by a church. Unlike many homeless people, the migrants are safe and are ready to work if you offer them a job, even if it's a few hours.

@@svtmach148 I feel like it is very intentionally personal to El Paso coming from your comments. I also find it interesting that rather than just admitting its not "your" kind of city, you instead choose to throw stones from afar with a blindness to good qualities of the city. Trust me, I'm not trying to change your mind about my city, its simply to encourage those who are open minded to visit and make their own assessment. It's classy, and fair to agree to disagree over the topic. Good day.

When I actually see the immigrant problem you have in el Paso
Its terrible that they are in your streets begging for food money and any hand out that comes
Take a drive down 54 it's a city by now practically has it's own zip code
Not good for el Paso or the people of el Paso
