Wow. No one does an atrium like Princess! A very classy decor and it looks like this ship has made it to the top of my must do 2024 list. Thank you for the very comprehensive review.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hey Adrian, it was so lovely to meet you on Monday for the Royal Princess Love Boat Event 😊 keep up the good work with your channel, I love your work and a big fan 🥰
So nice to meet you too! Thanks again for saying hi.
Hi Adrian, this is on my list for 2024 . Thank you for the best review Di
Very nice tour! You did a great job of showing where the locations on the ship are in relation to one another.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
happy cruise
Thanks. This is the most up to date comprehensive ship tour of the Royal on RUclips.
Thanks for watching, I’m glad you enjoyed the tour.
What an awesome ship
She’s quite a beautiful ship!
Great look around will be trying her out in March so good to see a comprehensive tour Thanks Adrian
Thanks Brad, glad you enjoyed the tour and I hope you enjoy your cruise on her next March!
Good one Adrian, thank you!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the tour.
The paid 18+ area looks a good size, but doesn't take too much away from the regular 18+ area. I approve!
Very true, and it's such a nicely designed area.
I went on this cruise in January 2024 so not that long ago but I do seriously recommend this cruise everyone is so nice and most off the food is free even the ice cream
Thanks for watching and sharing your experience!
Great tour!! Thanks. Will be taking her from LA to Sydney the end of Sept '24 on a 29 day cruise across the Pacific. Looking forward to it!!!
Thanks so much for watching. Glad you enjoyed the tour and I’m sure you’ll have an incredible time onboard.
Golly, I just got off Majestic this morning. Might have to try this one too!
You should!
Great timing! Just saw and was interested at a NZ cruise on Royal Princess early next year
Glad it was helpful!
Wow she is a lovely ship
She really is.
Nice ship tour😊😊
Thank you 😁
wow im shocked, i never thought of a princess ship as being so amazingly beautiful and elegant. i always pictured them to look quite outdated, but this beauty is stunning in every way :) i love the shiny floors, the stunning atrium, the dark panneling throughout and dark decor and the retreat :) and i think the buffet looks massive, especially compared to the only 2 ships we have been on (the pacific explorer and the pacific adventure). this ship defintely is to my liking very much :)
I know, right? Very beautiful ships. Majestic Princess is similar but looks a little lighter overall.
Adrian, I like the style of your Polar Shirt 😃
Thanks Glenn! 😃
I was waiting to get on the ship while you were recording this. I really enjoyed my time on the royal. My favourite bar was princess live. If you know you know. Not going to spoil it but spend an evening with Jonathan and Dominic, and you will know 😀😀 tell them Julian and Greg sent you 🍻🍻
Sounds awesome! Thanks for sharing your experience and I'm glad you enjoyed your cruise.
It all looks familiar but with updated decor on a grander scale.
Totally agree
We're off next Wednesday for a four day cruise to Hobart, should be a lovely break.
Hope you enjoy!
@@TheCruiseandTravelGuy could be interesting - we applied for an upgrade and to use some FCCs. We got the upgrade but they didn't use the FCCs so we will be working that out with them on board! Grrr
Hi Adrian am impressed nice ship however only yeaterday morning i get a call from princess players club FREE CRUISE so i did choose barrier reef cruise from sydney April first 25
I only had to pay taxes thats only 490$ for 2
I will be getting $250 play money too so its a win win
Nice video u did all the hard work thanks
Thanks Victor. Barrier Reef cruise will be lovely! Especially at taxes only - enjoy!
Just got off at 7am I enjoyed myself for my very first cruise. I wouldn’t do it again but it was fun
Thanks for watching and stopping by. No more cruising at all? Or no more cruising with Princess?
@@TheCruiseandTravelGuy probably at all. It was just a test to see if we would like it and we didn’t really. But anything can happen in the future.
My dad and I are on her on 2nd December
Enjoy!
Was going to book a NZ cruise next year, but decided to go with the Celebrity Edge instead
Edge looks incredible! Keep an eye on my channel for some Edge content soon.
@@TheCruiseandTravelGuy Wooo! looking forward to it!
Would liked to have had a sneak peak at the table tennis area.
Sorry - time didn't permit and I had to focus on the main public areas. You can find some images/videos online if you specifically google Royal Princess table tennis.
Going on her Wednesday
Hope you enjoy the cruise!
Disappointed in the use of the Princess Live! theatre for trivia sessions. Unlike the Vista Lounge, there's next to no surfaces to support your trivia paper & scribblings. Towards the end of our arrival to Sydney, trivia hosts were giving away "trays"; really encased promo DVDs they simply couldn't otherwise get rid of.
I did find that cumbersome too when I was cruising on Majestic earlier this year. It's not the most comfortable place for trivia.
Can this ship get into white bay in Sydney.
No, Royal Princess is too tall to sail under the Bridge
thanks that makes it easier to plan stuff for my cruise next year
Hi Adrian enjoy your videos but wish you and other bloggers on here would learn English. Complimentary basically means free an example here Let’s define the two words. Complimentary means free or given as a gift and of course it is not free it is in your cruise fare so is included very far from being free. Complimentary has a completely different meaning again.
Thanks for watching!
Lol it's complimentary you like it or not don't give the man hard time he works his guts out to present such a nice video by the way Adrian not charging you for the video so that's complimentary keep smiling Mr english teacher
Going on her on 7/12/24 to 21/12/24 to NZ Please talk about wheelchair next time
I hope you enjoy your cruise onboard Royal Princess. New ships, such as Royal Princess, have been constructed to certain standards that should mean wheelchair accessibility is quite good. Unfortunately, I don't want to provide incorrect information that may affect someone's cruise or experience, so I suggest you contact Princess (or other cruise line's) directly as they will generally be able to provide you with very detailed information including wheelchair accessible routes onboard the ship and dimensions of doorways. Happy cruising.
I did the NZ cruise and didn’t like the Royal Princess. The stand out was the staff, they were fantastic. Food was very ordinary even the supposed upmarket dining experiences weren’t that good. The ship seemed constantly humid and lacking aircon especially when we met for drinks in the Vines bar and Piazza. Also out of the 13 days you are at sea for about seven of them. Tours got booked out before the cruise.
Even though the ship had been renovated in about 2017 I found the decor dated and a bit twee unlike Celebrity x and Virgin. It’s a definite thumbs down from me and I’ll just stick to my European river cruising instead!
I’m onboard now - day 12 of 14 and it’s been quite lovely. The decor is definitely dated, but she’s from 2012/13 and was the first of her class, so many of the features and designs are not too dissimilar to her Grand Class predecessors.
For newer decor etc, I suggest Enchanted, Sky and Discovery Princess plus of course the brand new Sun.
River cruising is a completely different kettle of fish compared to ocean cruising and I can’t wait to experience my first European river cruise soon. I did sail along the Aussie Murray River cruise last year and it was fantastic.
What an awesome ship
