I wish we had more Scizor styled evolutions where the stat total is the same but the stats get moved around, making it feel less like an evolution and more like a form choice. I could see one for Shuckle.
Magamar line is actually loosely based on the Karura, a Japanese Buddhist transliteration of the Hindu divine creature Garuda, having the head of a bird and body like a human. Its fire typing and head come from the "karura clouds," a flaming nimbus or halo often adorning behind the statue of Buddhist deity Fudo-myo. Mr. Ryme is definitely a mix of tapping and ENGLISH actor Charlie Champlin during his silent film days. Also, I always feel bad for Jynx as the controversy between its yukionna/yamababa roots and the accusations of black face have tarnished an otherwise interesting character that could have gotten a cool more wild form that could lean it to its mountain hag inspiration.
I really liked the new Gen 4 evolutions, but I never understood why they were so hard to get, and basically not obtainable for a playthrough. Also, Jinx really needs some evo love, doesnt even need to be made OP, it could just get a design overhaul like Obstagoon and just be a new thing. Smoochum grosses me out, Jynx needs something else
Honestly the only thing I expected out of an Dunsparce evolution was that the stats would be fine and that it looked more like a snake and not like a sandbag, nothing more, so I'm happy with the evolution. I mean you could say that it can be made better but you can say that to literally everything, I mean Garados never got the Dragon type. I think people just had too high expectations, were I just had the few mentioned. So all in all I like Dundunsparce no matter what you say.
Hot take: I legitimately like Dudunsparce more than ANY fanmade Dunsparce evolution. Why? Because literally all of those fan evos are just slight design variations of ONE concept: "BIG COOL EPIC AWESOME SWAG DRAGON." Which without fail completely abandons any semblance of Dunsparce's original inspirations or themes such as the tsuchinoko, sphinx moth, digger bee etc. Everyone followed the exact same formula to the point where giving Dunsparce the least unique evolution in Pokémon history *was what made said evolution unique* because it WASN'T the same giant Dragon/Flying/Fairy/Ground-type Awesomesparce a million fanartists had already voiced their support of.
Now that I think about it, there is no Normal type Paradox Pokemon. How about a past form for Snorlax? It can be called Slumbering Wrath or something like that. It would be a Normal/Fighting type.
Fun fact: Mr. Rime is my favorite Ice-Type and are in my top 10 Pokémon-list of all time! I had a hard time with Mr. Mime in the past and sure Galarian Mr. Mime don't really look good either but Mr. Rime has become a great gentleman with a hat and stash so I can't complain!
I kind of love Dudunsparce though. It's such a derpy Pokemon, which is great because Dunsparce is already a giant derp. Definitely not going to be for everyone but I really love the weirdoes in Pokemon and Dudunsparce just works for me.
To this day, I still forget which one is the evolution between chingling and chimecho because they both look like pre-evo’s to me Edit: also, I literally learned in this video that chimecho was a gen 3 Pokémon. I’ve never seen it in any hoenn game and they were so common in sinnoh that I assumed that’s when it was introduced, which is another reason why I didn’t know which one is the first form
So um… recently I started to use a Shiny Annihilape for Tera Raids and I see why I always feared it… it's very scarily strong… using one at my disposal makes me feel less afraid
“Arguably they keep adding unnerving creep pokemon”, I get how the other parts of the Mr Mime line are creepy, but how is Mr Rhyme creepy? Honestly imo it’s closer to cute than creepy
@@Watch-0w1 It has hands, but it retracts them into its arms to use as a cannon. You can literally see its fingers in almost all of its art. It's the exact same thing that Golurk does with its feet cannons.

How dare you say Dudunsparce is the worst. It's literally perfect. It's the embodiment of Dunsparce. It's not supposed to be majestic, powerful, beautiful. It's supposed to be stupid and a joke.
That's what I'm saying; a new type is by far the easiest way to justify a new evolution, even if the design is bad it at least has a real reason to set apart from the other one...
These 6 Best & Worst videos are your bread & butter in terms of content, so thank you for continuing to make them! Been watching for a long time Emperor!
I have to disagree with you on Dudunsparce. Aside from the Type combo - which I agree should have been changed - the only legitimate reason for disappointment is the massive expectations people had for it , and that's a flimsy one at best. Dudunsparce is a perfect Evolution for Dunsparce, and no-one can tell me otherwise.
Pokemon fans love tricking themselves into thinking they’re getting something (In this case, a big cool-looking Dunsparce evolution) and then when they don’t get it they get upset.
The reason why Dundunsparce failed is because people’s expectations were unrealistic after all the Fanart. There’s only so many designs you can do before it feels samey to someone else’s design. And GameFreak and Pokémon could only do so much after years and years of Fanart taking over designs. Could they still have done better? Maybe, but after all this time and all this hype, they wouldn’t be able to please the fans anyways. I would have liked to have its BST be at least 30+ points higher overall, but what are you going to do?😊
I actually love dudunsparce. GF knew what they were doing, and even the name is a joke, sounding like a sting (the da dum tss sound on drums and a cymbal). It was a huge troll, and mad respect to GF for doing that. I'm definitely in the minority, but I think its genius
Primeape has a base stat of 455 and you called it respectable like, it needed all the help it can get. Annihilape was the right call and it look and battle awesome 😊
Primape has same base stats as hitmons which people consider as good enough plus nobody ever factors their sp.att for them (effective average base stats 84 w/o counting sp.att)
fishfox IMO, the Hitmons are also falling prey to power creep quite badly. Pure Fighting types with base 455 stats (2/3rd of which are defensive mons with base 50 HP) and niche abilities just doesn't cut it anymore. The issue is that making a variant/evolution for one of them means making one for all of them.
Great job, Emperor Cubone. I think we can agree that as much as I love this region, Johto is a really odd case when it comes to the type of Pokemon it introduces. On one hand, we get brilliance like Scizor, Crobat, and Kingdra. On the other hand, we get Bellossom, that’s not only a total downgrade and a waste of a stone but didn’t get a stat buff Vileplume would get in Gen 6.
That dudunsparce part feels like a blow to the stomach but I do agree that it should have gained the dragon ground type somewhere, I say it's an evolution to say the most.
I do agree that Electivire is a vast improvement on Electabuzz, although ever since playing PLA, I really wish it had been dual electric/ice. The interpretation of it as a sasquatch-like creature also fits that.
My favorites are Gliscor Sirfetchd Honchkrow Alot of my favorite involves the anime and when i first played sword my dynamaxed sirfetchd one shotted raihans gmax duraladon. I named mine scrooge mcduck
Dunsparce has been my second favorite Pokemon for years, and honestly I prefer the Dudunsparce we got to the fanart you showed. Personal preference, I guess. There are certainly other fan evolutions of it out there that I do prefer, but I'm happy that they just doubled down on what I already liked about Dunsparce instead of going in a wildly different direction. TL;DR: yes, it could be better, but my simple tastes are still satisfied with it both gameplay-wise and design-wise.
My favorite thing about Annihilape is that, if you evolve your Primape rather than catching an Annihilape in the wild, YOU are responsible for its inability to find peace in death. YOU turned it into a wrathful spirit by forcing it to use Rage Fist until it died. Pokemon may stand for Pocket Monsters, but in this case, YOU are the monster.
What I love most about these cross-generation Pokémon is their ability to get ribbons others from their latest gen don't have. It's great for origin mark hunters as well.
I will say that for my previous playthrough of Pokémon X, I used Dunsparce just because of the hate it got. And it became one of my best fighters in the game - it dominated.
Chingling is one of my favorite Pokémon ever and I adore its design. Maybe it shouldn't have been related to Chimecho, but Chingling is such an adorable baby Pokémon with so much charm and such a simple, but expressive design.
Funny you say "nobody wanted this" for Dunsparce, if you look at Bogleech's Pokemon reviews, they basically literally described Dudunsparce as the exact kind of evolution they'd want for Dunsparce way before Dudunsparce actually happened because... they actually understood the origin and basis behind it
If you do make another video about this topic, I’d love to see Crobat, Kingdra, Togekiss, and Weavile. These guys are incredible upgrades to their pre-stages and some of my favorites! Also, thought I’d share my thoughts about Dudunsparce (my opinions entirely): Dunsparce has been around for almost 25 years, and some of its pals like Yanma or Sneasel have gotten evolutions that vastly improved their capabilities (arguably Yanmega deserved some more upgrading), so it’s no surprise that over the years, power creep, pure Normal, and other gen 2 Pokémon getting evos, Dunsparce had become less and less useful than back in gen 2 when it could be considered a tank. Naturally, Dunsparce needed an evolution to catch up with the times, but I think people’s expectations were too high. What should Golbat evolve into? A more athletic bat. What should Tangela evolve into? A larger mess of -Haribo Sour Spaghetti- vines. What should Yanma evolve into? A larger dragonfly. What should Dunsparce evolve into? A magnificent dragon? No. (Well, the Dragon type can stay, I’d say Dunsparce deserves at least that.) Now, yes, Dudunsparce’s design has room for improvement (notably those tiny wings), but it’s far from terrible. In fact, it’s fitting. Dunsparce was a snake that evolved into a larger snake. Most evolution changes haven’t been very extreme, which is fine. Why should Dunsparce receive an evolution that changes so much when the others got simple evolutions? And no. Dunsparce and Magikarp are not comparable. Magikarp’s stats are garbage, it needed Gyarados. Dunsparce’s stats were ok, but not horrible. Yes I’m aware that gen 1 was almost 30 years ago and Pokémon has changed a lot since then. But Dunsparce getting special treatment with an evolution that drastically changes its design when compared to other previously mentioned evolutions is just unfair. I won’t say Dudunsparce is perfect, pure Normal is very lackluster, but Dudunsparce is not a bad Pokémon. It got what everyone else got: an evolution that’s comparable to the original with a stat change slight enough that it’s strong, but not OP (unlike Annihilape, seriously, that thing is BUSTED.). Not sure what else I can say, Dudunsparce isn’t perfect, but it’s a great evolution for a great Pokémon.
Magikarp to Gyarados also has the bit about the fish jumping the waterfall to become a dragon which can loosely be seen in the Coronet Highlands in Legends Arceus where at the foot of the waterfall just a little north of Fabled Spring where you can find Cleffa, Clefairy & Clefable you have several Magikarp and at the top of the waterfall are a couple Gyarados. As for Dunsparce one of its inspirations is the cryptid Tsuchinoko which can honestly be described as a snake, but with a large central girth compared to the typical snake. I'm also probably more biased toward it because while it wasn't shiny the first and only Dunsparce I caught in S/V evolved into the rarer 3 segment body rather than the more common 2 which was something I didn't know about until afterwards. On top of this is the fact that to me its name sounds similar to the Ba Dum Tss drum & cymbal tune used for some jokes. In addition to this it's not as though it isn't possible for Dunsparce to get something else such as a separate evolution method or a past/future paradox where it actually is a large serpentine dragon with either dragon or ground added to its normal typing as Dragon/Ground begins to invade on the likes of Flygon & Garchomp. On a tangent of sorts, I to this day still dislike Garchomp getting what I feel is a lackluster mega while Flygon doesn't get anything.
@@reeseolsen4052 those are some valid points. I was already aware of the Magikarp to Gyarados and Magikarp inspirations, and I must say you are lucky to have gotten a 3-segmented Dudunsparce! It would definitely be cool to maybe see a Paradox Dunsparce evo in the upcoming DLC, who knows
Dunsparce is based on a tsuchinoko, a fat little snake in Japanese mythology. It was always meant to be a joke since tsuchinoko aren't taken seriously by anyone.
I actually quite like Mr. Rime compared to the other three members of his line but to each their own I guess. And also with Dunsparce. Yeah it's kinda of letdown but it's the most Dunsparce thing to do by evolving like that.
"Ending up as a joke is very different from intending to be one". Cool, good thing Dunsparce was the latter. Tsukinoko, "fat snake", was always a joke yokai.
Flying would only be neutral, but I agree, it doesn't NEED Fighting, but it would have been great PR for it to have been a unique typing for at least a decade.
I'm curious, where was it confirmed that Primeape evolves by dying? There is an older dex entry that says it sometimes gets so angry it dies, but said entry says it is peaceful in death. Annihilape on the other hand, gets described as achieving even greater rage, transcending the limits of a physical body. It's more like an ascension than a death. But maybe I'm splitting hairs.
Chingling and Chimeco may be weak but for me they're really cute and I like cute ones more as I am an adult. As child, they were uncool for sure. Annihilape, Gliscor, Electrivire and Tangrowth are masterpieces
14:29 I can *GUARANTEE* you, EmpCube, that *NOBODY* cares about what you think about Dudunsparce. And no, people never say that "It was meant to be a joke". We simply love the mon and that's it.
It’s crazy how your “worst list” goes back and forth from being 100% correct to 100% wrong, Magmar, Mime, and Dunsparce don’t deserve to be there at all, the Magmar line is just as good as the Elektabuzz line, Rime is a cool (pun intended) tap dancer juggler thing, and Dunsparce is literally perfection incarnate. Putting those three anywhere near the Chingling line or (specifically) Smoochum is a disservice to all cross-gen evolutions
I don’t know why, but there’s not a single cross gen evolution I dislike (key being evolution, I don’t care about most babies). Even something like Lickilicky, probably the worst one, I find it an upgrade over the original, even though I’d consider both below average. Maybe it’s because I started playing in gen 4, so I never played on the time say, Rhydon was the final stage, it was always Rhyperior, so I probably got used even to the “stinkers” quite easily. That being said, if I had to say which is the best and which is the worst, I’d say Blissey is probably the worst, being kind of unnecessary, and the best being Steelix, saving an iconic yet terribly weak Pokémon while looking incredible. I want to give props to Paldea though. Somehow they managed to make all five new ones (if we count Clodsire, otherwise four) hits. Farigiraf fixed the issues I had with the original, Annihilape is overall awesome, Kingambit, albeit a bit overdesigned and perhaps not that needed, is really cool, Clodsire is an adorable meme, and Dudunsparce? Being a disappointment is the whole theme of the line, and when you accept it and start taking it less seriously, you end up appreciating one of the silliest pokemon out there.
Actually the who part of the creation of the dubious disc was expressly explained as one of the Team Rocket scientists. But what the corruption of the dubious disc was supposed to achieve was never really explained
I feel like they could have nailed Dudunsparce as a joke pokemon by just making it a three stage evolution, with each evolution adding a body segment. Evolving and getting 2 segments would be a letdown, but then you hear it evolves again. So you train it up, and it evolves, and it's the same bad joke again. The ironic letdown would have been incredible
I think you’re missing the link for why Mr. Rime works. It’s no secret that Mr. Rime is based on Charlie Chaplin, but that’s not all. Charlie started in the entertainment industry at age 8 (aka as a child, like Mime Jr.) doing clog dancing. While Clogs aren’t the same as tap dancing, tap dancing, he would later go on to be a famous tap dancer as well, hence the connections between the Mime and Rime with tap. More importantly, Charlie was famous for his appearances in silent films, just like how mimes are silent performers. Even keeping the Psychic typing makes sense, as Chaplin was one of the biggest celebrities of his time, “mesmerizing” people with his performances, like Mr. Rime does with his belly. All three forms are entertainers, and Charlie was even famous for a song called “Entertainer”. It may not be the most amazing Pokémon, but it’s a beautiful homage to a well-beloved performer native to the UK, which Galar was based
I hope the next gen will tease a normal/dragon evo to dudunsparce and hype it up to be really sick and it'll just be dududunsparce, maybe a more blueish colour scheme and some wings but still undeniably dunsparce
I also really love Sirfetch'd. It has many parallels with Dudunsparce. Both are evolutions to nearly useless pokemon, who the fans wanted evolutions for since years. They got evolutions seven generations after introduction, but one was pointless and the other was a gem.

What do you mean “Level 1”? I’ve gone into Zero Isle dungeons as Smoochum and Jynx.
I wish we had more Scizor styled evolutions where the stat total is the same but the stats get moved around, making it feel less like an evolution and more like a form choice. I could see one for Shuckle.
Only if it was a pre-evolution,cause NO ONE wants eviolite shuckle
@@Rainfire-forgets-to-animate Shuckle isn't that good a tank with almost no HP. Eviolite wouldn't make it that much worse.
I think they mixed in some elements from the boobies bird when designing Magmar
Jynx evolution seem to focus more on fashion trend than snow witch
@murcielago Cruz true. I forgot it's gyaru/ganguro street fashion influences.
@@jamcalx thinking next stage be a jrock or crazier idol
I really liked the new Gen 4 evolutions, but I never understood why they were so hard to get, and basically not obtainable for a playthrough. Also, Jinx really needs some evo love, doesnt even need to be made OP, it could just get a design overhaul like Obstagoon and just be a new thing. Smoochum grosses me out, Jynx needs something else
Yeah, Platinum made it a bit better, but I miss using things like Mamoswine or Dusknoir in regular Sinnoh....
Everyone followed the exact same formula to the point where giving Dunsparce the least unique evolution in Pokémon history *was what made said evolution unique* because it WASN'T the same giant Dragon/Flying/Fairy/Ground-type Awesomesparce a million fanartists had already voiced their support of.
unique isn't the same as good
Now that I think about it, there is no Normal type Paradox Pokemon.
How about a past form for Snorlax? It can be called Slumbering Wrath or something like that. It would be a Normal/Fighting type.
That is a pretty amazing name for it!
@@emperorcubone thanks!
I still think that Bisharp into Kingambit is an extremely cool Evolution, I love that your Bisharp has to prove itself in order to evolve.
Do not pass go.
Lickilicky would make a good #1 for a top 10 most uncomfortable names list.

I kind of love Dudunsparce though. It's such a derpy Pokemon, which is great because Dunsparce is already a giant derp. Definitely not going to be for everyone but I really love the weirdoes in Pokemon and Dudunsparce just works for me.
TBH I usually forget about Chingling too but whenever I'm reminded of it I just think about how cute it is! It's round!
To this day, I still forget which one is the evolution between chingling and chimecho because they both look like pre-evo’s to me
Edit: also, I literally learned in this video that chimecho was a gen 3 Pokémon. I’ve never seen it in any hoenn game and they were so common in sinnoh that I assumed that’s when it was introduced, which is another reason why I didn’t know which one is the first form
Yeah you'd think the Psychic gym in Mossdeep would show it off, but I guess it didn't go with the theme...
Yeah it's found in like one area and is a rare encounter. It's such a weird choice.
They look like pacman frog made of steel. There a good idea for it evolution
Plus frog are know for it soynd
Lickitung should have evolved into a normal/poison type called Ickitung.
Into a pacman frog/ chameleon
Dudunsparce is amazing, probably my #1 cross gen evo. It's frustrating in the most amazing way, I'll die in this hill.
So um… recently I started to use a Shiny Annihilape for Tera Raids and I see why I always feared it… it's very scarily strong… using one at my disposal makes me feel less afraid
I myself adore Dudunsparce, it's so stupid that it just works and I used one on my team for the first time and I am happy I did!
“Arguably they keep adding unnerving creep pokemon”, I get how the other parts of the Mr Mime line are creepy, but how is Mr Rhyme creepy? Honestly imo it’s closer to cute than creepy
Have you seen the stomach? Because it's seen you... Those eyes move and everything so you know they work, which is so unnerving!
Magmortar is a top 5 Pokemon for me. He looks like a Pokemon the bad guys would use and I love it.
You are right that it looks villainous, for how badly they corrupted Magmar, basically giving it it's own Dubious Disc...

Agreed with everything except Dudunsparce, i will not accept this slander!!! It is the perfect troll pokemon and I love it for that
I do agree that if Dudunsparce was normal/ ground then I honestly wouldn’t have any problem with it
Weavile is one of my favorite cross gen evolutions. Sneasel was very underwhelming back in its debut so seeing them fixing this was a nice touch. Too bad Chien-Pao basically just made Weavile obsolete.
Honestly, I love Mr. Rime. He looks so dapper and dashing, like he's gonna invite me out for some tea. He tore apart many a trainer for me when I needed it
I unironically love Dudunsparce just because it’s funny and makes people upset.
How dare you say Dudunsparce is the worst. It's literally perfect. It's the embodiment of Dunsparce. It's not supposed to be majestic, powerful, beautiful. It's supposed to be stupid and a joke.
Dudumbsparce could've at least been part ground...
That's what I'm saying; a new type is by far the easiest way to justify a new evolution, even if the design is bad it at least has a real reason to set apart from the other one...
Yeah they could have literally done anything else and be more creative than what they did..
These 6 Best & Worst videos are your bread & butter in terms of content, so thank you for continuing to make them! Been watching for a long time Emperor!
Great list! I’ll still never understand why they greenlit Lickilicky in the first place - like, who is it for? Why did they think people wanted it 😭
@@BalloonSeasonArchive OOO that's really interesting! thanks for sharing! I actually kinda enjoy the scrapped gen 2 one
Lickilicky would've worked better as a Pre-evolution, nearly everything about it's design (except for it's size) says it should be a baby Pokémon.
I wanna see if there is a chance to save these lines with new forms
I still think Porygon2 should be a branching evolution. One where it upgraded correctly and one where it glitched out.
We need porygon 3
I have to disagree with you on Dudunsparce. Aside from the Type combo - which I agree should have been changed - the only legitimate reason for disappointment is the massive expectations people had for it , and that's a flimsy one at best.
Dudunsparce is a perfect Evolution for Dunsparce, and no-one can tell me otherwise.
Pokemon fans love tricking themselves into thinking they’re getting something (In this case, a big cool-looking Dunsparce evolution) and then when they don’t get it they get upset.
@@ExistingKirb Exactly. Their expectations are set too high.
I feel like gamefreak made dudunsparce just to have the fandom shut up about wanting dunsparce evolution
I would have liked to have its BST be at least 30+ points higher overall, but what are you going to do?😊
the reason dudunsparce failed is because it was designed to fail
I actually love dudunsparce. GF knew what they were doing, and even the name is a joke, sounding like a sting (the da dum tss sound on drums and a cymbal). It was a huge troll, and mad respect to GF for doing that. I'm definitely in the minority, but I think its genius
making dudunsparce bad on purpose still makes it bad
@@redmage5251 lol i wasnt saying anything about it being good or bad/viable or not. Just said that the name is perfect
Give them broken items such as a thick club clone, that doubles their attack stat or defenses. Problem solved and they keep their look
I hit the like button before I even got past the intro. Keep up the cool videos Emperor Cubone!
I like bellossom for its looks and not much else. Perhaps they should have made it a fast sweeper with lots of coverage.
I like Bellossom, it's cute
That dudunsparce part feels like a blow to the stomach but I do agree that it should have gained the dragon ground type somewhere, I say it's an evolution to say the most.
Yeah, even if he feels like it deserves a place in the 6 worst (I personally don't but it might be bias), he ain't worse that Chingling
dudunsparce was funny for about a week and that's the nicest thing I can say about it
I had a Porygon-Z in Platinum that was amazing on the battle frontier
I do agree that Electivire is a vast improvement on Electabuzz, although ever since playing PLA, I really wish it had been dual electric/ice. The interpretation of it as a sasquatch-like creature also fits that.
Hey I love how memeworthy Dudunsparse is. It's evolution is as rare as a shiny for a joke.
The second S in Dudunsparce is supposed to be a C! And we DO NOT use the word its as a pronoun if there's an apostrophe in it!
My favorites are
Gliscor
Sirfetchd
Honchkrow
Alot of my favorite involves the anime and when i first played sword my dynamaxed sirfetchd one shotted raihans gmax duraladon. I named mine scrooge mcduck
I realized that many Pokemon I love are in fact touched by evolutions across generations! They can be pretty cool.
Thank you for putting Dudunsparce where it rightfully belongs. The most boring and disappointing evolution.
While a lot of the other Beta baby forms (like elekid specifically) weren’t that great, Beta Magby is superior to the Magby we got
That's what I'm saying! It could've been far better...
*Quickly looks up Beta Magby* WTF were they thinking?!
What I love most about these cross-generation Pokémon is their ability to get ribbons others from their latest gen don't have. It's great for origin mark hunters as well.
I disagree on your magmorter take. I think him having flame thrower cannons for hands is dope. Great video tho keep up the good work!
Also, thought I’d share my thoughts about Dudunsparce (my opinions entirely):
Dunsparce has been around for almost 25 years, and some of its pals like Yanma or Sneasel have gotten evolutions that vastly improved their capabilities (arguably Yanmega deserved some more upgrading), so it’s no surprise that over the years, power creep, pure Normal, and other gen 2 Pokémon getting evos, Dunsparce had become less and less useful than back in gen 2 when it could be considered a tank.
The pokémon is greatly disappointing, my dude. It's insulting.
Chingling seemed like it was included in DP because the devs were worried that Chimecho was just too strong for the early game.
Mr rime shouldnt even be on this list. Its not a cross gen evolution, its verry much an in gen evolution.
Dudunspacre is a meme Pokémon and I love it. People hyped up over something they made up and got mad when it didn’t happen.
The C in Dudunsparce should be after the R!
"Ending up as a joke is very different from intending to be one". Cool, good thing Dunsparce was the latter. Tsukinoko, "fat snake", was always a joke yokai.
You didn't love or understand Dunsparce to begin with, you just cared abut what fans speculated of it. Dudunsparce is perfect.
Ya know.. I never noticed the stomach face before.. thanks a lot, man. 😂
My personal favorite is Gallade, I loved the Gardevoir line in Gen III and Gallade is just such a cool design
Electivire is in my top 10 all time Pokémon maybe in the top 5. He doesn’t need Fighting type to make him weaker to flying or Psy.
Flying would only be neutral, but I agree, it doesn't NEED Fighting, but it would have been great PR for it to have been a unique typing for at least a decade.
Nah Magmortar looks sick with those arm cannons agree to disagree. Also I just love Lickylicky it’s so dumb and fun.
If Game Freak is all funny and making jokes around, why didn't we get a freaking Paradox Blissey called "Iron Maiden"?????
My top 3 favorites are Yanmega, Mismagius, and Mamoswine
I'll add an extra 4th and say my faves are Scizor, Roserade, Froslass and Togekiss
I wasn’t a huge fan of Mr Rime, but the I saw a RUclips video of him dancing around twirling his cane and I started to kind of see his charm.
At least we know eventually we will have Dundundunsparce with probably a 3 and 4 segment form that’s even larger

Dudunsparce: *gigachad noises intensify*
I'm curious, where was it confirmed that Primeape evolves by dying? There is an older dex entry that says it sometimes gets so angry it dies, but said entry says it is peaceful in death. Annihilape on the other hand, gets described as achieving even greater rage, transcending the limits of a physical body. It's more like an ascension than a death. But maybe I'm splitting hairs.
No you’re not wrong in Alola they said that Primeape is very peaceful when it dies so 🤷🏻♂️
Ok, no lie, I actually genuinely love Dudunsparce and want a body pillow-sized plush of it
Chingling and Chimeco may be weak but for me they're really cute and I like cute ones more as I am an adult. As child, they were uncool for sure. Annihilape, Gliscor, Electrivire and Tangrowth are masterpieces
Gliscor is on my overall favorite team of six Pokemon! And I love Annihilape finally gave my boy Primeape some due!
There should be 2 H's in Chimecho!
It is simply that you can't comprehend the ways of the DUNDUNDUNDUNDUNDUNDUNDUNDUNDUN
In defense of dudunsparce, he’s just a funny guy.
Dudunsparce needs an Evolution!
I think Dudunsparce is really dumb, and I love it.
It may not be the most amazing Pokémon, but it’s a beautiful homage to a well-beloved performer native to the UK, which Galar was based
I hope the next gen will tease a normal/dragon evo to dudunsparce and hype it up to be really sick and it'll just be dududunsparce, maybe a more blueish colour scheme and some wings but still undeniably dunsparce
as a magmortar fan, i am hurt. you didn't have to roast him like that, he already is roasted.
I also really love Sirfetch'd. It has many parallels with Dudunsparce. Both are evolutions to nearly useless pokemon, who the fans wanted evolutions for since years. They got evolutions seven generations after introduction, but one was pointless and the other was a gem.
