@@kevineverett1622 I heard of what happened something went down with the band and some members on bird app. I don’t think it’s as big of a deal as the comments think.
Noob Comments You guys don’t dig enough is the problem. Rock is still very much alive, it’s just burrowed it’s way in the underground because the new music for this younger generation is hip hop and edm. There’s still a lot of great bands today but it’s rare you’ll come across something like Headstrong. Because this was the cheesy early 2000s mainstream rock round. If you want band recommendations and hear where rock is headed now and what it’s doing in the underground because fuck the mainstream! Bands like Ty Segall, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Kikagaku Moyo, Tame Impala, Chelsea Wolfe, Mac DeMarco, Preoccupations, True Widow, Hop Along, the Voidz, Iceage, the Growlers, the list goes on. I’m glad rock is where it is now because it needed to experiment and evolve. It was starting to become shit like this video as an example. But if you want a band that sounds somewhat similar to this, I guess you could say Turnstile and Letlive are about the only bands you’ll hear nowadays that kinda have this sound. But even those bands are a little better than Trapt or Linkin Park or whatever other bullshit mainstream radio was trying to feed you mindless drones in the early to late 2000s. Rock is in a better place, believe me it needed some re-evaluation. It’s pretty much ascending to another realm. Just try some of the bands I gave you guys and believe me, you’re gonna be like,”holy shit I was asleep thinking rock was dead the whole time.” Lol King Gizzard will blow your fucking mind.
Listen to Sergio! The bands he listened are very good. King Gizzard is alone worth checking out for the very merit of their sound. But also from a standpoint, it is important to understand how you consume media. We are all consumers, and if you are feel like you aren't getting a quality product what do you do? If you go to a place to look for a decent camcorder but all they have is shit, isn't it fair to reason you would go somewhere else to find a better camcorder? Music is exactly the same. I will disagree with you Sergio on a few fronts. New music is always experimental at first, and music like above was once revolutionary and experimental. Bands like Turnstile and Letlive are even aging now as their sound has been proliferated so evenly. But I digress. Just find good music and enjoy!
LMAO. Thanks for confirming you are at most a couple years removed from your angst-filled teenage years. Please revisit this comment of yours in say, 8 years, and you'll cringe so hard at yourself, hopefully anyways.
This was the low point of rock but okay Edit: not the early 2000s in general. The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, and Franz Ferdinand put out some of the greatest music of the century at that time. But the mainstream 2000s rock was pretty fucking bad.
Man, this song make me want to form a band and then ten years later have a melt down on Twitter. (For those now seeing this 3 years later, this is a joke. Stop having a meltdown in the comments because I made a funny.)

Trapt - Headstrong Drowning Pool - Bodies Saliva - Click Click Boom Godsmack - I Stand Alone Disturbed - Down With The Sickness No era of music was better for fight soundtracks than the early 2000's.
So how about the 80's with Maiden, Priest, Motorhead, Sabbath, Ozzy, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Exodus? 90's with Pantera, Slipknot, System of a Down, Rage against the Machine, Machine Head?
You need to grow up dude. These bands are awful and specifically made for angsty, dumb 13 year olds with no ear for real music. Go listen to some old Metallica or megadeth if you want real metal. Cmon.
If you listen to those other bands , why on EARTH would you listen to this? It's like being into good food. Say you only eat organic and upscale foods. But you also eat chef boyardee. Makes 0 sense lol. But yeah, those other bands are all great.
@@douglasowen3813 trust me. It's not real metal. Try expanding with real metal. Opeth, Devin Townsend, megadeth was always my favorite. Mayhem. Burzum, hell. Alice in chains. But all nu metal, and anything with "core" just sucks to me. Not judging you, just trying to help lol. Pretty much all popular metal from the 2000s sucked. I like Disturbed, as a guilty pleasure. But they are pretty stupid. Some of these songs I do like as a guilty pleasure and it's okay if it's just that but if you really think that nu metal is good...then. meh. I dunno. I just hate it. But to each their own. At least you named several good bands. I know guys who only like nu metal. They're stupid lol.
Listen to the album Rust In Peace by megadeth. Deliverance by opeth. Cowboys from hell by Pantera . Ride the lightning Metallica. Follow the Reaper by children of bodom . Loud love by soundgarden is pretty metal (but not their later stuff) paranoid and Sabbath bloody sabbath by black sabbath. And then you probably wont like those other bands anymore. That's how it was for me. I heard the real stuff, and realized how bad nu metal is. Theres a whole world of awesome metal you're missing out on. With amazing riffs, 10-20 minute metal anthems that NO nu metal bands are capable of. Breaking benjamin, trapt, seether *shudder* you may as well be listening to Nickelback and Creed. They're all the same.
It is very much so. You get that incredible feeling at first of joy, but once you realize those days will never be back and you will never be able to relive them, it hurts.. a lot. I do make myself feel better by thinking about when I have kids and how I will raise them and the childhood they will have. I am excited to help them shape their childhood and what they will consider nostalgic in 20 years and to ride the nostalgia wave with them. Having kids is the main reason why I have kept all of my childhood items so I can share them with them.

This was the low point of rock but okay
Edit: not the early 2000s in general. The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, and Franz Ferdinand put out some of the greatest music of the century at that time. But the mainstream 2000s rock was pretty fucking bad.

You need to grow up dude. These bands are awful and specifically made for angsty, dumb 13 year olds with no ear for real music. Go listen to some old Metallica or megadeth if you want real metal. Cmon.

@@jacobpitsenbarger4763 I like to expand my music inventory, I listen to those bands, these bands and metalcore and deathcore

@Aryan Toon 💯💯 Spot on. 2001 was literally the last good (or decent enough) year in music. 2002 to now has been an abomination.
Nostalgia is the best and worst feeling sometimes
honestly bro..
Especially when its old relationships whether it be friends or significant others..
