I just got this today it was a 2 pack from Amazon. Because there's construction where I live here in the United States and they're cutting off the power from time to time. It works fantastic, super bright and it does stay well lit for quite a few hours I really like this product.
Same here. I got a 2 pack of these on sale and a 4 pack of other cheapie rechargeable lanterns, used by points and the total order was less than the price of 2 decent candles. I figure it's much safer for my daughter than burning candles and the price was right.
It actually has four light settings, you missed out the brightest setting as you sped past it. Additionally you can hold the button and dim it to your desired level. When you use it with the cover removed, the idea is to hang it upside down from the D ring at the base. It's a pretty decent lamp indeed, i've purchased four of them, although charging time can be a bit long. I keep meaning to ask if you can use it while it is charging, as there is no way to know how low the battery is, it just goes off when spent. When i was in the middle of something it went off, and i plugged it in to charge, pressed the on button and i ran it at maximum brightness to finish off the job
LE Lighting do a range of Laterns, the one I have Model :PR330029 looks like your one but main lamp is split in 4, it has 2 detachable from the main light torches (3AAA batteries req), & the main light can be either battery (3 D3) feed or LED charged which is handy for camping and fishing etc.

They are great. Just remember to give them a charge every few months to stop the battery deteriorating, in case you don’t use them.

Great product
It certainly is!
I will thank you very much.
What does the red light mean when charging?
It’s charging and not full. It goes green at 100%

Thanks for your comment.
I have put the D batteries in each way I can think of and nothing works 😔
Mine is rechargeable and needs charging via USB. There is a black rubber plug covering the connector.
If you hold the button it dims.
There are 3 settings, bright, dimmer and flashing.
Yep indeed it does, also It has 4 settings, Bright, Warm, Brightest and Flashing.
