2026 Cruz Gillespie LHH/SS/RHP Wood Bat Swings| Fall of Junior Year

This spring he led the state of Oklahoma in batting average and was 15th in the country hitting .682AVG 7 HR 34 RBI 31 RUNS 18 SB 7 DBL 1 TRP in 21 games. Despite the 7 HR, he's not a big kid, but he has room to fill out. He's 6'1" about 155 and has run a laser timed 6.58 60.
Cruz has smooth actions at SS and on the base paths he plays with a confidence and looseness beyond his age. As a pitcher, he is very adept at mixing his pitches and keeping hitters off balance, and currently sits between 82-85 with his FB from the right side.
He led his Risin summer team in batting average as well.
Cruz committed to a Wood Bat this Fall to further develop his swing. This video is a compilation of those swings performed on college fields around Kansas and Oklahoma.
