Went to cosmetology school in high school but never finished my last 500 hours. I’m 24 now and Your videos make me want to go back so bad but at this point I can’t afford it 🙁 wish I would have finished when I had the chance but I was young and dumb. Love watching your videos! They are inspiring me to work towards going back! Jessi you are amazing and beautiful!

Depending where you live, there maybe a regular beauty school that maybe not as exespenive vs a Paul Mitchell school, you may look into a apprentice program

It was because I skipped school a lot so if I would’ve went I would’ve got the rest of my hours. Every time I didn’t go I didn’t get my hours for those days. I enjoyed going to cosmetology but I just wasn’t that into school when I was younger so I did skip a lot now I regret it. I did graduate just didn’t have all my hours in order to get my license.

Look into financial aid! Since you are 24 you are not legally obligated to use your parents info and can probably get something decent. That's how I did it. Currently enrolled at my local paul mitchell school.

Hey..random request: I just watched one of your old videos (3 years ago) and thought about how far you've come🙌. Wondered if you would ever do a video critiquing/commenting on your old tutorials about how you would do anything different or how much you enjoyed a specific technique from back then, etc? Also....what ever happened to Sarah!? Lol I said it was random..🤷🤗

So I was gonna ask why she got sew ins and also tape ins? But what I saw was you used the tape in on the sides. Is that standard when you do extensions? I see how it could work, but I don't know if I would want tape ins. Do you sew extensions on the side, and is it more comfortable with tape ins on the sides? Thanks for answering. I am using clip in right now till my hair grows out some, I hadnit pretty short. So I am growing out out to a long bob, then I will start doing the extensions sew in with braid or bead sew in.

It's Soo hard for me to figure out how to charge. A lady has an empty Salon attached to a Nail Salon, So much needs to be done . Then I thought what about the prices ? It's not a high fashion place. But it shouldn't be too cheep either.

Use social media to promote your services. To attract interest offer slightly lower prices by coupon code or for client's 1st visit. Gather client's contact info while you set up for service. Email, phone & social media to stay in touch. Suggest client book next visit before leaving. Always ask for referrals & offer a slight discount to client who sent them. Gradually raise prices as demand increases. As you do more you'll gain experience, get faster & create better results. Stay in touch with clients but don't over do it. You'll eventually have a following & be booked out. Hope that's helpful. Blessings!
