A series of movie promo glass slides

Here's something of an oddity: An 8mm color print of a presentation of promotional glass slides for popular movies of the late 1910s - early '20s.
Typically, glass slides would've been projected onto movie screens between shows to advertise lots of things, not just upcoming films. Illustrated song slides with lyrics were displayed during participatory sing-along times; Announcements and ads for local stores and name brand goods were also common. These slides were not displayed via film projector, but instead with a slide projector, homonymously referred to as a Magic Lantern.

I have no information as to when this short 8mm print was created, or what purpose it was meant to serve.
