Purchase stub microdrills, they go down to 0.05mm that all have a standard 3mm shaft, they make HSS and Carbide versions, commonly used for micro drilling PCB. They are also available in LH and RH, as most drilling jigs have a mix of both LH and RH. Smaller diameter drills should be run at the highest speed to prevent breaks, most consumer drills do not spin fast enough to safely use very small diameters drills.
Hi, just had your channel pop up on my feed, sub’d and liked this video, just wondering does the drill come in Australian plug, or is it the adapter style only, very interested in purchasing this, great video, now I’m going to binge watch all your videos, cheers 🤙🏼🇦🇺 Joe from Australia 🤙🏼🇦🇺
This drill press is for the amature home hobbyi st agreed. I am in the ultra micro machining business and my machines cost 100x what this machine sells for. The twist drills we use cost 22$ each The Chuck on this drill press wont even hold a micro drill. But, as you say.For a home hobbyist it will suffice.😅 The price online is incredibly Cheap. I couldnt even purchase the materials to build this tool ,let alone build and sell it. If it can drill a straight hole in a piece of plastic Its Amazing ! Go for it , its cheaper than a Dremel tool 😅 Cheers~
Odd. I am not poor and i'll be getting one. Why pay more than you need too if a tool does the intended job. Also remember these types of machines are meant for light precise duty only. BTW I also have a ruddy great drill press but it's not designed to work with bits this small. 😊
Great review. Appreciate the effort and level of detail. Thanks🇦🇺😎

@ yeah, that one would be non compliant with the UKs plugs and sockets regulations.
Do you have a link for the USA or an Allie express or Amazon affiliate link?
That dispiae cordless rotary tool is not good. The grub screw Chuck is terrible, almost impossible to center bits in it
Its designed as a sanding tool. It does not have ability to centre bits properly. The tool is great for sanding. 😊
its a Poor mans drill press Sorry
