Knitted Together
When bearing life's burdens alone,
I risk crumbling under the load.
The depth of this need in my soul
Must be filled by a child of God.
My soul is drawn closer to yours,
Sharing love overflowing and deep.
As trust in each other abounds,
We find safety and comforting peace.
The sins of the past weigh me down,
But I’m learning that love casts out fear.
With peace in my soul, I confide
In the one whom the Lord has brought near.
You comfort me through every trial
As you share with me truth from God's word.
I know I am never alone,
And you help me grow close to the Lord.
You strengthen me when I am weak
As my soul is knit tightly to yours.
We sharpen each other as iron,
And our love is forever outpoured.
