I have both and by far prefer the OpenFit. I started out with the OpenRun for about two years and didn't like rear head band. The main reason I stuck with them was the ability to maintain situational awareness and not feel uncomfortable with plugged ears. I bought the OpenFit six months ago and find them extremely outstanding. I wear the OpenFit daily and often forget they are on my head.😊
I have had the Openrun Pro for almost a year now and they are the best headphones overall I have ever owned. With that being said, I just bought and am testing the Openfit because as your video pointed out, there are certain use cases were one may be better than the other.
Great review. I just learned about the openrun but now I'm liking the openfit after watching this. Like you mentioned, as a girl, the openruns would be bothersome with my hair so the openfit would be a pro. Plus, better for office use as well for me. Well done, Dion!
I have owned many ear buds, but because of my left ear I have to have over the ear buds Powerbeats pro were brilliant, but these open fits I wear all the time and sometimes forget I’ve got them on, good sound, good comfort and good control 👍🏽 Thanks for the review Dion
I love the feel of the vibrations on the open run and the sound clarity on the mids is just the slightest bit tinny in my opinion which I personally find fun. Too bad the demo ones I tried got completely stuck in my curly hair before I even got them on!
I bought 2 one for a family member and me in Hong Kong. Both broke off in exactly the same area just off the part that goes over the ear. Within the warranty period but Shokz did not honor the warranty. The serial no is imprinted on the earplug and I offered to mail it in to them but they want you to read it and it is so so so so tiny ! The customer service was not good and I am miffed as both broke off in exactly the same place, They tried to offer me a 10% discount on new pair but I will not invest again as they did not stand behind their product.
I'm kinda torn. I want a pair for the office. The OpenFit are nice because of the size, but I feel like my boss would prefer to see the OpenRun Pro because they are not covering any part of my ear whatsoever.
Hi I listen to silent classical stuff , is open run pro more suitable? It’s 50 $ cheaper + I was told latest model released in pro compared to open fit , is that right ? Thanks
In your opinion what’s the better option for blue collar workers/ trade work? I’m required to wear hearing protection ear plugs so I’ve recently found these as an option I can wear at the same time to listen to music and podcasts while I work
Great video. I still can't decide. Ugh. They will mostly get used in the gym and the office so each one is better in different scenarios. I like the fact that the OpenRun's are bone conduction and sit off of the ear all together but I prefer no headband. Haha. What a wreck. LOL
I carry my open run without the case and I have no risk of loosing an earbud besides the longer battery the small magnetic cable is easy to store and carry and the open run gets a full charge very quickly
If you were to buy one of these to wear all day long connected to your phone, but not necessarily listening to anything all the time - which would you choose?
How goes openrun pro leak sounds if they're supposed to vibrate instead of sending out sound waves? I was aiming at openrun because I thought it would be completely silent from the outside, now I'm concerned
If the openrun is touching your skin the sound bleed is minimum. Unless you blast it at 100% without it touching anything you will be unable able to hear bleed.
Shokz , I picked from HK in one of the store at Decathlon. 3 Months later the product stopped working. It won't disconnect from the phone or Mac even after it's inside the charging case. The product is so bad that even though you manually disconnect its still goes and connect to the last known device. The battery drys off ... and left ear bud won't charge and right ear gets charged because some contact issue with magnetic. The product is failure ... and they sell at 60 // 70 or 80% discount . This company uses all 3rd grade chip and usb software made by some cheap company. How one can compare to product like BOSE !!! . The SHOKZ customer care took my product back.. more than 2 weeks still no sign of delivery or responding to emails. Observe the way the keep pushing new products every quarter ... these aggressive measures if the put on quality inside the product it will be worth time and value.
@@christopherbrooks5269 Inflection for emphasis is a powerful means of conveying emotion, much like what tone does in writing. However, in this case, inflection is used in-every-damn-SENTENCE. It removes any possible confidence in the message and conveys doubt and insecurity instead. I wish that content creators bothered to take a public speaking course to make their presentations more pleasant to listen to and consequently more effective.
You’ve got an extremely annoying speaking *cadence.* You really need to tone down the way you *emphasise words.* It’s very grating and very hard to focus on the *information.*
Which would you choose, OpenFit or OpenRun pro? 🤔
I prefer OpenFit
OpenFit 💕✨
OpenRun Pro :)

Thanks for sharing, Dion!
My pleasure, as always!

Amazing video and review. Just what I needed. Thank you.
very thorough but also concise. great job.
I have open fit. For me they are perfect. I run, I can hear, wear beanie hat or baseball cap, plus my running glasses. Totally comfortable .❤

There is sound leak with bone conduction?

How does the volume of each compare?

Los Open Run son mas adeacuados porque transmiten el sonido por los huesos aún más que los Open Fit

I don't think you mentioned that you can use them singularly meaning you get heaps more battery life.
I have the open fit and love them.

0:21 do u go for runs Dion? 🏃♂️ 🤔
at times, prefer biking and long walks
How about for phone calls?
Both good, OpenFit slightly better 👍
Well, I have never used open ear product. Well Willing to use one
When you do, share your experience
@@DionMedia sure sir . I will

The openrun vibration also vibrates the air around it, which results in sound waves, just a weaker diaphragm.

does anyone prefer the openrun over the openrun pro? the volume on the pro is so much weaker in comparison.
I feel that the openfit will be leak sound to outside, is that truth?
As with any open air system, there will be some leakage. For me the openfit has less sound leakage than the open run for example
So OpenFit not for long runs and marathons?
There is something about your reviews. That just stands out
Keep up, Dion
Thanks Carlos, I will continue doing my best.

And the best I shall to support 👏👏
can i go out running and do intense workout with the openfit without them getting uncomortabl and getting off my ears?
In my experience yes.
A microphone comparison would have been helpful
Dude had tech 9 on there ❤
I dont think I like the over the neck design💀
I'll buy the sony float run instead. Thanks for this review.
My pleasure
@@DionMedia I change mind. I'll look for open fit.
Big fan of Tech N9ne love to see that whats up Technician
need to improve the sound, and more editing skills. your content deserve more views
I think the editing and skills of this video were excellent. The right amount if information at the right speed with enough graphics.

Why do you accent every.last.word.in.each.SENTENCE?
Probably gets it from other reviewers. It’s weird.
It's inflection, used to powerfully and confidently conclude a message.

It helps with the. Algorithm. You didn’t know?
I agree. It's very annoying. The presentation becomes irritating.
The openfits appeal to me more
