HOWEVER, this isn't a magic record thing. This was Used In the Madoka Magica Rebellion movie you can see it being used by the quintets. Witches in Kamihama are Much more Dangerous and powerful. Because of this, the only way to fight Witches in Kamihama is to be adjusted by a coordinator. Doppels are a magia record thing BUT. Its Concept is not. Witches fighting for magical girls are already a thing in Madoka Magica. In other manga spin-offs. Additionally in the game, Doppels are just powerups But in the anime, IT Finally explains why the use of Doppels is Double-edge. Lil Kyubey. About It... I won't spoil what it is. But in the anime, Lil Kyubey only exists when there are Uwasa/Rumors or witches. But in the game. It appears whatever it wants. For Iroha suddenly Changing school is explained in the game. But the anime skipped it. Basically in the game if I remember correctly. She got permission from her parents to switch schools. But I forgot the entire detail of why. Tsuruno Yui is Best girl. She is actually a veteran Magical girl also. She is also intelligent as She is one of those responsible for ending the Kamihama civil war (Divided War between Sections of Districts in the city) months before the events of the Magia record. (not like am biased or anything) Also in episode 8. In the game. Madoka and Homura are meant to be here. They decided to cut them. Which is quite a shame. Since they remove Amane and Homura fight. How long has Yachiyo been a magical girl? About almost 7 years if I remember is one of the oldest with the same with Mifuyu. Characters that appear/Mention/Camoe in the anime. Isuzu Ren Episode 2. When Rena is in disguise she takes the form of Isuzu Ren. Kozue Mayu Episode 3. When Mitama is Tinkering/Adjust her Soul gem Fumino Sayuki Episode 3. The Idol Girl when Rena is watching alone. Kurumi Manaka Episode 4. Same school as Ami Ria Ami Ria Episode 4. The reason why she's angry is because of rivalry in different Schools. There are a lot of cameos in this series of characters from the game, so if you see a background character that stands out a bit more than you'd expect, there's a good chance that they're a playable character in the Magia Record mobile game. I really enjoyed the finale to this season, the show was certainly a bit rough around the edges (mainly pacing issues and a bit of character bloat, though I attribute that more to it being based on a mobile game and it being the directors debut series) but it's still a lot of fun. I think it was a great idea to make Magical Girls the main villain for the spin off, that way it's not retreading old ground with Witches and Kyubey. Speaking of the director, I can't remember if I mentioned this on the first episode you uploaded a few months ago but you'll be interested to know that Magia Record was directed by Doruinu of the animation troupe Gekidan Inu Curry, he alongside 2Shiroinu were responsible for designing and animating the Witches in the original Madoka series.
So glad I found this video. I had a lot of fun revisiting this anime and I love your reactions 😆 I played a bit of the game so I enjoyed all the references but it's nice to see people who didn't play still enjoy this too! Sayaka's severed arm will always stay rent-free in my head
