I think it was part of it but I think that Hinata giving him ointment before the battle was huge to him because he was not used to receiving attention. . . Even in a simple act of kindness like that.

When Sakura says things like that, she’s echoing what the village has said since Naruto’s birth. Most of the villagers treated and spoke that way (or worse), about Naruto. But unlike most of the villagers, Sakura actually gets to know Naruto. It’s weird, but I really think some of the way she acts is because she cares. It’s not the best method, but they’re peers, when she yells at him it’s because she doesn’t want him hurt or to be reckless.
6:50 what’s annoying is that in the actual anime she would actually think that, she wouldn’t care if naruto was lowering himself for someone else/sasuke, she would care if sasuke’s life was on the line. Naruto would lower himself to anyone if it meant that his friends or loved ones were safe while Sakura would only do it to save herself or sasuke.

But unlike most of the villagers, Sakura actually gets to know Naruto. It’s weird, but I really think some of the way she acts is because she cares. It’s not the best method, but they’re peers, when she yells at him it’s because she doesn’t want him hurt or to be reckless.
