I'm sure the workmanship is first class (it would want to be at that price), but cant say I'm impressed by the layout and general use of space.
Agreed, the whole layout is just odd. There's no separate bridge so you're sharing the upper deck with the crew, three relatively small cabins (for a 112 ft boat), the engine space is horribly cramped and it just feels like so much space has been wasted. How are you going to use all that sunbathing space if the boat can only accommodate six people?
@Just think May well be first class, but still looks like it was made by Ikea. And probably the oddest boat I've seen in a long time.
Also agreed, and I am not sure I would want to hear "minimalist" when I have just dropped 13 million!!
Agree were is the tv on main deck?? And 3 cabins it's absurd! If I had cash to buy this I'd go princess y72 or y85! But these sx line are fully customisable 4 cabins and main deck whatever you want! You could speck it to your liking! There is a lot of space to play with!!! Happy sailing all ⚓🛥

I liked the way they have made the cranes architectural features. Often cranes are ugly monoliths that just take up valuable real estate but here they look part of the ship’s superstructure. Great work as always Nick, thank you.

Not for me, but a very interesting concept. You give up a LOT of lower deck space for the beach club/gym. Not normally a fan of stairs right in the middle, but do really like how this design is. Being retired navy I have a soft spot for crew, too bad we missed those areas. Bridge and engineering spaces seem to be a bit unkind to captain, watch standers and engineers.
I'm in agreement, I see a bar for drinks but is there a galley or are all their meals catered?
@@mrchairman08 Nick said he could not go into crew spaces, they were preparing for a luncheon.
I kind of like the sacrifice of interior space for the openness. Sometimes seeing 3 dining rooms and two bar areas gives too much redundancy in my opinion. I’d rather have large tender storage than an extra bar or cabin for the friends I don’t have 😂
@@JoesAverageAdventure no doubt. I'd think this boat is for the owner's use, and not for charter.

Sanlorenzo's are fast becoming one of my favorite yachts.

Love your tours. I judge all other yacht videos by you. Don't care for this boat, a weird layout, but it takes all kinds.
The architect in charge of designing this yacht definitely loved geometry class. I like the ships design, it would be a fun boat to travel on & enjoy.

Looks like a lot of work went into the design to meet the owners wishes. Like the integrated cranes and the large number of different useable spaces to relax both inside and outside the yacht. Real pleasure to see yacht builders using their imagination to meet the customers wishes and offer new features. Even in a large group you can still go and find a quiet space to relax on this yacht.
Stunning boat, really stunning.
But 4x IPS, is that really what buyers of boats of this class want.
Even if money ain’t no narrow sector i thought the simplicity and reabillity of shafts was the thing.
Quite the stunning yacht, and a very nice deal that Sanlorenzo let you have a go even before the show opened up.

Wow Nick, that is a slick yacht ! I like the yacht's with the "secret" passageways. Also, you do a great job with the tours without opening every single drawer and cabinet. I very much like the "faster" tours when you do skip opening all the cabinets because you never leave out what you viewer's want to see. Engines, wheelhouse, heads, cabins, galley, etc...keep up the great work. Z

I think of this as a two-seat Ferrari: very beautiful, very expensive, not for taking all your friends for a grand tour. This one's designed for personal use, not charter. I wouldn't be happy with that tight engine space but that's what engineers are paid for. Another fantastic tour! Thanks Nick!
I love this one! Quite a bit different, and clearly for those who love entertaining outside in warmer climates 🌞
Some fantastic parts... the integrated crane, the central spiral staircase, those cool cupboards...
But honestly, for a €13m 'super yacht' I'd be quite disappointed. It all seems cramped, even for a 3 cabin layout (which seems too little for a super yacht too)
Anyway.... I'll never afford it so my comments and thoughts are irrelevant haha. Great video as always though and I was trying to spot what with you has on again haha

I liked the stairwell, closet doors, cranes and very little else. This boat looks like it was built to host parties, which it would do fantastically, but personally it something I would ever want.
Morning with Nick to watch stunning yacht
This boat is so clear of its workings. And nothing appears "covered up" - rather it was designed to have the systems and routings minimal as well. It is a pleasure to pause and gaze upon the spaces - and how clever to have the dining / lounge at the apex of the main deck cabin with panoramic windows. What a wonderful space. I could go on and on, instead I'll spend my time rewatching and pausing. Thanks, Nick and thanks to "SX112" as well.
I love this. Maybe not to everyone’s taste, but as it’s customisable I think it’s fantastic. I like the minimalist open concept, that appeals to me. I know the mirrors help with the illusion of space, but they are very 1970’s and a pain to keep clean.
Overall it’s magnificent though
IF you buy it Nick, you gotta name it "Smuggler's Fortune" 🤣
it its beautiful and in a kinda square way. That. Glass stair case is amazing. I never thought I would never seen anything like that. The chairs at the table is something I wished I had thought of. And that beach clubs what a way to spend the weekend doing nothing but working on a tan. Its always a great way to wake up with a cup of coffee and watching your so your magic. Thank you Nick.

Jeez Nick, you know most of us can't afford these yachts... You have to show us the crew quarters because that is about the only chance we have to actually get aboard.
Hey, we can thank Nick more than anyone else for getting crew areas shown on these videos! I think it's fair to cut him some slack when extenuating circumstances are involved.

Brilliant to see a new model; although I think I saw a similar layout on a Van de Valk beach club (660 I believe) which you toured a year ago! It does compromise sleeping accommodation but it does give massive amounts of space for the beach club and day activities! I quite like it thanks for sharing Nick!

I pride myself on making sure I watch every video you put out. You're by far the most thorough, intelligent, and informed, yacht explorer on RUclips and I thank you for that. I wish you could put out one a day! At any rate I should get to the point...after seeing every video on every yacht you've done, I do believe I've found my favorite vessel in this one.

Finally a boat as impractical as the Wallypower 118! Kidding, I prefer this to having loads of cabins. Yachts aren't cruise ships, whatever charterers tell you. Three cabins is plenty.
I would have my owner's suite extend all the way back to the glass doors onto the beach club, and a large country kitchen style galley forward upstairs where the dining area is. I would dedicate the top deck mostly to the bridge and captain's cabin.
I love the dark woods and moody finishes. The owner is probably a bachelor.
Interesting boat with a warren corridor's. Nicky decorated with a serious engine room. I see that Maggie the Bagie" has given her seal of approval. Plus Nick's review of course. Interesting boat, I wonder who will buy the first boat.

I think this is one of the only boats that nick has toured where I’ve thought there’s a lot of wasted space. Still a very beautiful boat, just wouldn’t be one I’d be interested in. Of course if I was ever wealthy enough to consider any vessel 😂

Nick, It has been a couple weeks since I found time to watch a video, I feel like a junkie and just got my fix. Interesting boat for sure, lots of open space with a small understated helm as well as three relatively small cabins. It appears it is built for six but could entertain 2 times that number easily. It also appears by what we didn’t see which was the whole lower bow decks containing the crew quarters, galley, and food storage this ship could carry a crew of six. Quite different layout for sure. Interesting Yacht, which is obviously, very bespoke and designed for the lucky owner. Two little niggles for me was the 'banging' cupboard doors. I would have to have soft close and cushioning 😉. The other was the plastic hangers in the wardrobe 😉🙄☺️.
Otherwise, very crisp, neat and 'very nice'

Not even 2 minutes in and I'm gobsmacked. This is like an entirely different design of yacht - the layout is VERY different from anything else I've seen on this channel!
That stairway is pretty cool and that dark marble colour scheme is to die for.

What a gorgeous yacht! That helm reminded me a bit of the new S Class
Great tour as always! My personal opinion on this yacht is that there are many other options to consider with that sort of money and this one wouldn't make it to the top
I am left with conflicting sentiments about this yacht, which for a San Lorenzo is very weird.
The beach club with the folding balconies: Amazing
The incorporated crane with the vast space for a really nice tender: Excellent
Four IPS drives: Wow!
Minimalist design: Nice
Owners cabin: Meh
Main deck setup/layout: Non existent
Bridge being essentially an integral part of what can only be described as the sun deck: WTF!
Edit: I still give a like for the video, because you did a good job and the boat is definitely interesting, even with its weirdness.
Another great tour Nick. San Lorenzo certainly seem to be upping their game in terms of contemporary interiors and layout.
Does anyone else think that it is claustrophobic feeling, especially the engine room and accommodations ?

Only oddity is just 3 bedrooms for such a big boat. Guess there’s ways of making it 4 or 5 easily enough.
That's an impressive boat; the beach club is truly spectacular!
The overall layout is so different that I'm still processing it, it'll be a bit before I even know if I like it or not!

From an artistic POV, this is beautiful. From a personal POV, I'd find something else to spend my 13m Euros on. The layout is...well, it's right out of the 1970s when split level homes became popular. It tries to be upscale, but the dining area is anything but formal. The bridge...well, some things can be minimalist, like a website where less is more, but the bridge? Really? The operational areas of this yacht (bridge and engineering spaces) are among the worst I've seen. God forbid something happens during rough weather...you'll be lucky to get down to engineering and then when you do, you're tripping over frames and have no space to work if it's engine related.
As I said earlier, if I had the money, this wouldn't even be on the list.
Sanlorenzo impresses me more and more. Some fantastic ideas from these people.
For me, the best part of this boat is the engine room. The rest is really a lot of wasted space. And why is the helm so open to the upper deck Saloon? That's not at all practical for night cruising. Thanks for sharing, Nick

Great tour as always. I don’t understand having a boat that sleeps only 6, yet is set up with outdoor spaces for 20+ people.

That's a great rethink of how spaces fit together. I liked the stateroom lounge area; seems like a good place to stash kids if the adults are relaxing in the salon. That said, there seemed like a lot of 'public' space and not a lot of accommodations. Overall, an intriguing set of changes in how things are laid out.

It's cool- because it feels more like a big showroom and not like a liveable yacht.

Very interesting layout on this super yacht, 🤔 . The closet doors are really cool . As for the master cabin, it would have to be bigger for me but everyone has their own taste a style 😉. Overall it is a beautiful yacht. Thanks Nick for sharing this one .
