If you love the music for the music, and not because you are hopping on the bandwagon then you are a fan. This band has made such an impact on my life I can't put it into words. I saw them when I was 15. He was what made me become a vocalist. Changed my life forever.
Stop complaining about how the band got more popular after Mitch died that's the case with any public figure. A death always is going to make bigger news than what someone ate for lunch yesterday. They enjoy the music or the person now because they just lost it forever. Knowing how amazing someone or something is and then realizing that you can never have it again sucks. It's no reason to criticize fans simply because they came later. I don't think Mitch would have a problem with his band growing in popularity even after his death. As an SS fan I'm glad that Mitch is being recognized for his amazing talent and that a deserving band is getting more attention .
