Okay, I'm sorry I'm such a nerd, but there's actually a reason you can so distinctly hear Thomas's voice. Thomas is singing bass in this song, and as this is his natural range, he can project his voice as loud as needed. He's actually not singing as loud as he could here to try to blend better, which makes balancing the track a whole lot easier. So, with Thomas singing bass on this song, I don't hear any other bass on this song besides Thomas, now I could be wrong, and if I am there are definitely only a few people singing bass (my guess would be 4 at most.) Since Thomas is possibly the only one singing his part on this song his voice stands out more. Also, your brain hears the lower parts better than the high parts, because science said so, not even kidding.

Of how many minutes there are in a year and so I go, “ I know how many minutes there in a year, 525,600,” now my maths teacher is looking at me like I am crazy. So I have to tell her,” oh no it’s just from a song that I know one of the musicals that I listen to.” (She knows I’m obsessed with musicals) and she goes, “oh sing a bit of that song for me I might know it.” Now I don’t mind sitting in front of my friend they’re all singing and I don’t mind singing a bit in front of my parents because they’ve heard me sing before. But this is my maths tutor who has no idea what a nerd I am in musical theatre. Then anxiety started kicking in and was like, “ oh ! what are you going to do?” So i start mumbling the words. Last year my school chorus ended up performing that song for our concert and I had to sing that solo part. It is a very large span of notes to hop over and bridge to get to the final one and she did that amazingly well! Okay, I’m going to stop talking like I’m actually a professional instead of a thirteen year old, either way though, this definitely sounded great and I want this now.
