This is neat! But the final part is kind of hard to make all the petals go up...I ended up tearing some of the paper. Would it be good to turn the petals up it ahead of time before the rubber band, then spread them out after everything is bound together?

I put a a date under the leaf and my name just for memory and attached it to a pin so she can attach it in hair or coat. I used a thread instead of rubber because I thought it will look nicer. And I used glue to stronger the connection with a pin. The date was so fun and we laughed a lot. Went to exhibition in a caffe she liked and had dinner later. At one point I said that if I would ever marry I would also take the surname of the wife and then she said my name with her surname. In general we felt and acted like teenagers even thou we are adults. If you are young and it’s one of first dates or you are not experienced - my advice is actively listen and ask questions and throw some white jokes to test if they laugh. Don’t be afraid to talk about yourself :)If they laugh lot it’s strong indicator they like you. If you don’t know if it’s ok to touch them, hold their hand etc. ask. I do it even as an adult because sometimes it’s hard to figure it out. I’m crossing my fingers for you :)

you will need 4 different paper sizes and 3 of each. if you use 3 different paper sizes the flower becomes 3 layers and if you use 4 the flowers become 4 layers. hope it makes sense 😍
Paper ripped off and I completely screwed final unfolding order... Petals hide inside one another, who knew! I wouldn't even try if I knew that it's actually not 4 pieces of paper but 4*3 pieces, I think you can mention that the next time on modular models. I really didn't like my result although it was expensive origami paper and I feel pretty confident as an experienced folder:(
You can buy origami paper on Amazon... But what I would recommend is to simply buy ordinary colored paper and a paper cutter, then you'll be able to make the exact sizes you'll ever need 🤗❤️
Hi Clare... We do not have those two in Denmark 😉 ...But it's just "ordinary" colored paper that I usually just buy either in a big supermarket or in a book/hobby store. Hope that helps 🤗❤️
