Adam and Paul are wonderful in these; really enjoy LRR doing this when there isn't a normal Dice Friends campaign.
Without hyperbole, these are some of my favourite streams LRR do. Adam and Paul are so much fun.
It's strange - Paul is definitely the straightman of the two, but it's hard to even call them foils. It's just two guys talking and joking about old fantasy adventures, and somehow their charisma shines through. It's pure and great.
I'd like to point out that they made you work to get that spider that killed you. Not only did you have to go through the Leprechaun's door and the drugged wine cellar, you then had to fight a golem and open three boxes in the correct order to get an ugly spider that killed you.
The green and red backing made me think it was Christmas themed at first.
Really love these adventures of Otaku Jeff (and the great Paul and Adam dynamic)!
These videos are the best please more of these fighting book adventures with Adam and Paul these make my day
"Give us what we want!"
"Yes! Just like that!"
I'm in love with this format
I Always enjoy adams doing things like this
I can't get into the rest of this channel. I'm literally here for these dudes and Fighting Fantasy.
I am unusually pleased with the fact that when I saw this video on my subscription feed I was like "Dice *FriendS?* Wasn't this just Adam with the adventure books? Oh no, wait, Paul should be there too, just off screen!" and at the first minute they address the very same thing.
There's just something so relaxing about these streams.
This DF feels Intimate.
I love these. Adam and Paul are both great
What a great moment when Adam finally got the 6 he wanted
Commercial break ends at 2:00:48
Story time with Adam!!
*grabs snacks and a hot drink*
Please make as many of these as you want to. They're the best.
Me, sitting down with a few Reese's cups and hot cider: What the fuuuuuuuck
I love this series! Is it a series? There's been like, 4 now, so I think it's a series. It's great!
2:40:00 That's like publishing a book with your computer password in it, then just putting it in the local library.
I think the first FF book I ever played through when I was a kid was Deathtrap Dungeon (book 6) I picked it up based on the cover alone, I didn't even know what a choose your own adventure book was then! Luckily, it's a great one. Hope you get to play it on here one day. Loving this series to bits.
8:50 yep...this is gonna be good.
I absolutely love these. They are so much fun.
Love these streams so much! Story time with Adam and Paul is the best!
These are the best. Love you Adam!
These are my favourite LRR streams now! I'd love to see more.
Love this!!! Would you please link to your other book playthroughs in the video notes? Thanks
That was a hoot 🦉
I'm so happy for you guys getting to do this as a job, sounds like a dream
This was so enjoyable. I laughed so much when the spider jar got taken from him
This is a neat idea! I really enjoyed this.

I guess to be fair, in a fantasy setting, animals would evolve to help better eat passing adventurers.
I mean that's essentially what a mimic is.
_Thanks,_ RUclips, for aggressively pushing longer videos - making things harder for your content creators - _and_ having bad support for long videos, often causing me to lose my place by resuming 20~90 minutes before the place I left off.
(In case my wording and use of italics didn't make it clear, this comment is intended to be read with venomous sarcasm.)
If it's quantity over quality you're looking for, give me a shout. I have a half dozen fairly crappy ones I can stick in the mail.
If you're still doing these... DEFINITELY do House of Hell 😈, it really lives to its name.
Show this video to Ben next time he goes on about Adam being a lucksack. XD
Otaku Jeff strikes again
No bloodshed. All smothering.
It's actually about an 11% chance to roll no 6's over 12 rolls of a d6. So fairly unlikely but not as rare as you might hope.
Whoever said 89% was looking at the probability to roll at least 1 six over 12 rolls, not none, so that number is incorrect and much the opposite of the actual answer.
The thumbnail looks like Adam having an exam.
RIP Otaku Jeff
I played most of these when they first came out - it's 1 Warlock of Firetop Mt 2 Citadel of Chaos 3 Forest of Doom 4 Starship Traveller 5 City of Thieves 6 Deathtrap Dungeon 7 Island of the Lizard King. I gave up on the series after that
It's important to note that the improvement in skill is not incremental. IE: 9 is not 1 better than 8. Because you're rolling two d6 during combat, you are most likely to get a 7. Each step you move away from that statistical average is more and more unlikely. that's why it's so much easier with a 9, rather than a 7.
