Why do you saute the garlic until it turns brown? At this point, it is bitter. Either put it in at the last and cook for no more than a minute, or use full cloves. They can cook longer.

Some people like crispy garlic, get over it.
For this I would mince the garlic instead of pressing and add it about halfway through cooking, just before the chili sauce

@@detroitbucknut Well, if you had actually read my comment, you would know that cooking that way makes it bitter. If you like bitter and tough garlic, then by all means cook it that way for yourself. Me thinks that you have not cooked garlic very much.

Es gab da mal einen 5-Sternekoch, der sagte: "Ich weiß ja nicht, was da aus der Knoblauchpresse herauskommt, aber Knobluch ist das nicht mehr!"
Und Recht hatte er.
Es ist doch sehr viel einfacher, die Knoblauchzehe einfach mit einem Messer klein zu schneiden. Und sehr effektiv!

You killed the garlic. Everything else should go in at the start after the oil is fully heated and then the shrimp and then the garlic at the last 35 seconds. Then let it rest.

Outsch,bis diese süsse Chilli Soße rein kam war es gut,die Soße hat es zerstört,schade drum.
Edit: Okay,Geschmäcker sind verschieden,ich finde die Sosse zu stark vom geschmack und arbeite lieber mit Chilli,Soja und wenn sein muss bissi zucker,jedem das seine :D
