Thank you Cody. The love between you and Cody's Wish was as truly amazing as I have seen in my life. I have owned horses for over 50 years and have never seen anything like this! Your name will live forever in the offspring. We love you Cody. Thank you for the inspiration.❤❤
I watched all these races and the bond between those two was incredible and Heartwarming . There is a new star in the sky tonight, and yes its burning bright! watching over the stable and the horse he Loved so much! R.I.P. Cody! 😢
I saw Cody the day before he died, Saturday November 4th, at Santa Anita Breeders Cup. Maybe all of the excitement, and the high temperature, here in California, caused him to have heart difficulties. 😢
They were together as long as each of them needed the other. Cody watching over his Friend to keep him safe and Cody's Wish giving him something to be Proud of. I swear that Horse Knew he was waiting for him in the Winners Circle. And I know Cody will meet Him when His time comes.
Beautiful story! this was a thoroughbred colt / Stallion who truly loved this young man! I would not be surprised if Heaven let you visit and sit astride your beloved friend ❤
Cody, you are a brave man who has strong determination to ensure your friend horse performing his best on his dynamic races till his retirement. Now you’re finally completely free from the physical pains, pls enjoy watching any races from the heaven. Your smiles are so amazing…Your family are also so brave to keep fighting to ensure the best of each day. We deeply miss you Cody.
How fortunately blessed I feel we all are to have experienced Cody and his Wish. This experience / story is what dreams and miracles are made of. The surrounding reality witnessed has indeed been with awe ……and, will forever be unparalleled memories through this very special young man and the amazing thoroughbred that so uniquely bonded with him. As Cody is now freed of his bonds, I look forward to ongoing memories through his Cody’s Wish.
He was probably in so much pain during the race and he held out until the way home to finally part ways. What an amazing climatic ending to a sad story.
Cody and Cody Wish… both champions in an amazing love story. Cody is gone but his name will live on when the baby “Wishes” are born…RIP….💞
