@@dynodansmoking am doing my first cook as I type right ( 3 13lb briskets) and I see my 3 temperature gauges are reading very differently from each other 😂 top says 150f middle about 240f and lower 200f. But when I turn the fan on lowers goes up to 250f and upper to 200f. Left it running but no balance achieved
@@1YeshuaHamashiach1 a big peice of meat will throw off the gauges for sure. I don't focus on the 3 gauges on the door. I just let it run and learn the cooker. They are all a little different
sorry, I am not familiar with how you have been enjoying your pitts and spitts. is that bad, medium, good or great. how does it compare with the outlaw 3000? thank you.
I have used it now for about a year. I have done mostly ribs . I bought extra cooking grates and the heavy D deflector. A great mid level smoker if you need the space
@@maxzeilinger4537 I have not. Most of those cooks have been catering gigs and I just don't have time to capture video. The grades are not that good. They kind of flex a lot so if you got somebody to make some custom grates you might want to get go that route
Nice walk through! This cabinet smoker has long held my curiosity. I remember Tom Horsman doing a review a number of years back… and I remember being disappointed in the temp variance from top to bottom. I don’t remember that top fan being a part of the cooker back then. That lil fan appears to have done the trick. Scale of 1-10, where would you put the smoke output?
Heady d os a must
What?
Did you left the fan on the whole time ?
Yes sir

how is the food coming out of the pro 2300? Thank you.
It's on par with my Pitts & Spitts

It's a good smoke for a pellet smoker.
How long have you had that pellet smoker.. did you ever do any cooks with pellet pro.
What did you all purchase any extras and total cost.

Have you posted any video of that rib cook off.
Are the grates heavy duty or quality
Have you had any issues with this smoker

Smoke is on par with other pellet smokers. That's without the heavy D deflector. With it it's 10+
Cooking with pellets won’t ever equal cooking with wood. I had an LSG 20x42 pellet which is a Mercedes and wasn’t happy with the smoke profile.
nice vid
How many 15 lb briskets do you think would fit?
At least 4 maybe 5
Are you still happy with it today?
That's nice bro. Still have the Assassin?
God bless!
No unfortunately I dont.
I bought my pellet hopper from them that I used in my 1950 fridge
Dan the company I work for might be contacting you to do a catering. 30+ people.
I can do that!
@@dynodansmoking the company tried to get slap yo daddy. But he opened to late. We have 3 work shifts not sure if that's an issue for you?

How power hungry is this smoker?
Nothing out of the ordinary. These smokers meaning pellet smokers in general don't use much power once they are up to temp and running.
