The oldest known god in written history is typically considered to be Anu, the sky god, worshiped by the Sumerians in Mesopotamia (modern-day Iraq) around 4,000 BCE. Anu was part of the Sumerian
pantheon and was later incorporated into the pantheon of other civilizations in the
region, such as the Akkadians and Babylonians. Anu was believed to be the father
of the gods and the ruler of the heavens.
It's important to note that there may have been older gods or deities worshiped by
prehistoric cultures that did not have written records. Archaeological evidence
suggests that religious beliefs and practices existed long before the invention of
writing. However, without written records, it is Anu & his daughter Ishtar, the morning star, who show up in the beginning.
The oldest known tablet or inscription mentioning the god Anu comes from the
ancient Sumerian city of Uruk and dates back to around 2500 BCE. This tablet,
known as the Uruk King List, is a historical document that lists the kings of Uruk in
chronological order. Among the names of the kings, there is a reference to Anu,
indicating his prominence as a deity in that period.
Additionally, Anu is mentioned in several other ancient Sumerian texts, such as
hymns, prayers, and myths, which provide further insights into the role and
significance of this god in Sumerian religious beliefs. These texts were written on
clay tablets and have been discovered at various archaeological sites in
Mesopotamia, including the cities of Nippur, Ur, and Eridu.
It's worth noting that these inscriptions and tablets are the oldest known
references to Anu specifically, but it is likely that the worship of Anu predates
these written records, possibly by several centuries or more.
Anu is considered the god of the heavens, and his name
is often translated as "sky" or "firmament." Although the word AN is interchangable with the word logogram for the word GOD "diĝir", and it is theorized that the word AN, is cognate with the proto indo european root for the word ONE, which also is AN or EIN, showing ANU as a possible proto-Monad concept of "the ONE".
Anu is the son of Anshar and Kishar, who are
primordial deities associated with the horizon and the earth. Anu is depicted as a
mighty and wise god who resides in the highest heaven, ruling over the other
gods. He is often portrayed as the father or progenitor of other deities, including
Enlil and Ea (also known as Enki). Anu's role as the supreme deity is sometimes
overshadowed by other gods such as Enlil or Marduk, who gained more
prominence in later periods. Nevertheless, Anu retains his status as the head of
the pantheon and the ultimate authority.
Anu's role in the divine hierarchy is also reflected in the Mesopotamian cosmology,
where he occupies the highest level of the universe, separated from the earth and
its inhabitants. He is associated with the celestial realm, divine laws, and the
ordering of the cosmos. In the Akkadian mythology of Babylon, Anu is considered the chief god and the father of all other gods. He plays a crucial role in the creation story known as the
Enuma Elish, where he gives birth to the god Ea and grants him authority over the
    earth.
The god OURANOS in Greek mythology seems to have a similar role as "the firmament, or Heavens" god.
Or Sky Father: Both Anu and Ouranos are considered the personifications of the sky and are regarded as sky kings. They are associated with the heavens and are seen as the rulers of the celestial realm. Both Anu and Ouranos are considered primordial
deities, existing at the beginning of creation. They are among the earliest
divine beings in their respective mythologies. Anu and Ouranos are depicted as fathers of major deities in their pantheons. Anu is the father of Enlil and Ea, while Ouranos is
the father of the Titans, including Cronus (Saturn) and Rhea. Both gods hold significant authority and power
within their pantheons. They are often depicted as the leaders of the gods,
overseeing and governing the other deities.
Both Anu and Ouranos are physically
separated from the earth and its inhabitants. Anu resides in the highest
heaven, while Ouranos is depicted as an entity that covers and separates the
    earth from the heavens.
These parallels suggest a common theme of a sky god figure with a paternal role
and authority in the early mythologies of these civilizations.
Anu is associated with the concept of divine
kingship, which was a prominent aspect of Sumerian society. He is seen as the
ultimate authority and the one who bestows kingship upon earthly rulers. The
king of Sumer was believed to derive his authority from Anu.

Now you get to pick and chose whatever religion keeps you in your comfort zone the most. The ultimate lie is that.

      - Each god conveniently favored the people they were ‘discovered’ by
      - each god conveniently showed up in times of crisis.

This is very likely a translation quirk of making God refer to itself in the royal “we” rather than referring to other gods since the New International Version of the Bible is adapted from the King James Bible version. Divine beings speaking like divine kings would’ve made more sense in that version. Still would not rule out the possibility since so many religions have a version of concept and God being jealous of other gods makes way more sense if they are in fact not just the imaginings of disobedient humans but ya know…actual other beings.

That is because the ancient Semites were polytheists or henotheists, with the Yahwists being merely one tribe. Elohim is a plural term that referred to all of the gods or celestial beings. The singular high god by himself was called El. Both words are used in the Old Testament, along with numerous names and appellations of other deities, including goddesses. Translating this all as Yahweh, originally one of the sons of El, is purposefully deceptive.

    Anu in Mesopotamian Mythology
So, what exactly was Anu's role in Mesopotamian mythologies? Like many supreme deities, Anu was largely characterized by his role in creating and organizing the rest of the pantheon. This means that he was the father of all the gods, and also was responsible for giving them their powers and jurisdictions, as well as their ranking among the deities. In fact, whenever a Mesopotamian god was promoted or given a greater leadership role in the stories, it was said that they had received the anutu, or the power of Anu. With this distinguished role, Anu held the venerated position of being head of the Anunnaki, or the pantheon of gods.
Along with creating the other gods, Anu was sometimes also credited with the creation of the entire universe. Sometimes it was said that he did this alone, other times it was said he worked with two of the other most powerful gods, Enlil and Ea. Regardless, this gave him the ability to position himself pretty well in the cosmos. Of the three levels of heaven in Mesopotamian mythology, Anu lived in the highest one.
It's important to note that Anu's powers to create didn't always end well for humans. Yes, Anu created the universe and the gods, but also the monsters and demons of Mesopotamian mythology. Some of these monsters were created to protect the gods and their realms. Others were made to punish humans. In at least one story, Anu creates the Sebettu demons so that the war-god Erra can kill the humans. Why? Their noisiness had become irritating.
    Anu & Mesopotamian Society
Anu was the supreme head of the gods, the progenitor of divine power and lived in a special palace high above the rest. Can you guess which person in Mesopotamian society he was often associated with? It was Anu's authority that granted the kings of Mesopotamia absolute power, and they sought to emulate Anu's traits of leadership.
As such an important figure, it's not surprising that Anu was worshiped across Mesopotamia. One of the biggest cults to Anu was found at the city of Uruk, which is where the most famous temple to Anu was found. The cities of Der, Lagas and Ur also had important temples, shrines or gardens dedicated to Anu. In many of these, Anu has the basic appearance of a human, but that's not necessarily how Mesopotamian people saw him. Yes, he could take human form, but really he was the embodiment of the sky itself. He was also associated with the form of a bull (sometimes he was the bull and sometimes it was his companion), and was frequently symbolized by a horned crown.
    Bull figurine from Uruk
    null
    Anu & Mesopotamian History
Like all societies, those of Mesopotamia changed over time, so it's important to understand where Anu falls in this history. The first appearances of Anu in Mesopotamian writing dates back to the third millennium BCE, which is also roughly when the temple at Uruk was built. This makes Anu one of the original Mesopotamian deities, and nearly as old as Mesopotamian civilization itself!

Why? Their noisiness had become irritating.

all these are only assumptions and constructions of contemporary writings. They have nothing to do with archaeological or written historical sources
from what ancient sources did we read these and how?
Of the ancient languages, only Greek and Latin are written in a regular alphabet and have advanced grammar and syntax
Therefore, to this day, they read clearly.
All other cultures had no alphabet and had syllabic systems such as cuneiform or hieroglyphs whose pronunciation we do not know
Their grammar and syntax are still unknown to us and we cannot read the ancient Hittite Sumerian inscriptions today.
We read with language models freely and as we wish.

His recent upload on the role of Ouranos, Ymir, and Dyaus is something which you may find interesting, and which I feel confident in directing yourself and your viewers towards. Where are they getting the gold and why do they have to repair Niburu? Has everyone figured out by now war only destroys themselves? This universe still in diapers needs to grow up. Citizens still revolting like children throwing a tantrum. It's quite off putting. Watching them writhing around disobeying the ten commandments as usual. Always choosing to do evil rather than obey the ten commandments. The largest civilizations that thought they were invincible found out they weren't. The biggest gods and kings brought to their knees because they forgot about the ten commandments. It's unfortunate.

Inanna/ Ishtar is Anu’s great granddaughter. Ninhursag is Anu’s daughter. Inanna’s lineage goes like this….
    Anu
Enki and Enlil are the sons
Nannar/Sin, Marduk, and Adad are Enlil’s sons
Utu/Shamash and Inanna/Ishtar is Adad’s son and daughter.

We actually don't know exactly how long mankind has been walking the earth. Saying "at least 350k years" is just a dream because we really know nothing. Scientists of today theorize and perform certain kinds of dating, but the measures are flawed, and the theories are just theories. Mankind as we know it today is extremely different from the original generic haplo types of, say, 30,000 years ago. Written history only goes back a few thousand years. That's the only thing we can really prove, and even then, we guess at how our ancestors lived and believed.

The people seem pretty comfortable taking an old god, cloaking them in their own culture with a new name and going on.

Pick up some books on ancient religions and read Cambridge University Press research publications on this subject matter. It is way more complex then what videos can advise, let alone don't citate work or have a bibliography. However these ancient cultures really didn't 'independently' create their belief systems but it was more geared towards religious metamorphosis. I can list dozens of Ancient Religions that would blow your mind but I feel like people need to learn things on their own. However, you could start by looking into Manichaeism. This ancient religion took the common sense/humane elements of Buddhism/Coptic Christianity/Zoroastrianism and formed a single system. It became so popular in Eurasia that it rivaled Roman Catholicism for hundreds of years until the Romans decided to kill anyone who took part of Manichaeism. #theology

Love this. May I point out that Anu was a flesh and blood man, cupbearer to Alalu for 9 shars. An, was a title given to Agade, first King of Nibiru after the North and South were united. This was aeons after constant war. While the title "An" means "The Celestial One," according to the Tablets, An was also a flesh and blood man, written about in the annals of history in the Sumerian Tablets. A Creator of All is mentioned several times throughout the stories, but in my view, An is not considered to be that creator. In fact, the word "An" is used to describe "man" or "men" in the Olden Times and the Prior Times. I do not mean to disqualify anything in this video, however, An and Anu are two different, real people in the Tablets, with actual real written histories separate from each other. I don't think it is correct to call either one a God of Sumeria, at least not with a Big G. Sadly i can’t read them myself so it’s not for me to say who’s right or wrong, but consensus does have to come into consideration, & considering his whole aim was biased toward proving extraterrestrials, I’m personally assured he was a charlatan.

I'd challenge anyone to show otherwise with clear examples - not hearsay about what they have heard other "experts" may have said.

His work made a lot of sense of issues that mythology runs into when wondering if these stories were simply anthropomorphized movement of planets, or actual flash and blood beings. With Sitchin, you become able to see its both, but you can separate what is planetary legend and the gods which the stars were assigned to as their titles, like the rulers of 12, each god being represented by one of the 12 bodies of the solar system.

Aleph of course taken from Taurus, and so on and so on...
    Gen 1:14
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament... and let them be for ''SIGNS'' and for seasons(appointments) (the appointed times), and for days, and years:
I hope this wets your appetite for more deep gnostic learning.

Enki and Enlil were half brothers. Enki was Anu’s firstborn, but Enlil was Anu’s firstborn of his half sister, and marrying your royal stepsister took priority over marrying your sister or distant cousin. Anu gained kingship over his planet by overthrowing another bloodline, so granted there were many gods already at the time of Anu. So anyways, Enki was always upset that the royal succession would go through Enlil’s line, because Enki was firstborn and thought he deserved it. This would lead to a lot of issues between the two bloodlines. Not to get into all the nitty gritty, but Marduk was one of Enki’s two sons, the other being Nergal. Marduk was the younger of the two, but resembled his father a lot in the way that his father Enki/Ea was a brilliant scientist and creator. The line of Enlil were more warriors and law givers. So both sides had their strengths and weaknesses, which is why in they ended up having a truce later on. But Enlil’s side typically won the battles between the two, and a lot of that had to do with Enlil’s son Ninnurta. Ninnurta was the most powerful warrior of the gods, and it was his name in the creation myth that defeated the leviathan, which was just analogy for the collision of the planet Tiamat and Nibiru. In the Inuma Elish, which is Babylonian, the rise of Babylon happens during the time after the two bloodlines make a truce, and Enlil allows a son of Enki to rein in Mesopotamia, which prior was only reserved for Enlilite gods. So when Marduk came to Babylon with all of his scientific knowledge and mathematics, masonry, etc, he restored it to its peak beauty. The rise of Babylon with him as the ruling god, replaced Ninnurta’s name with Marduk, and the planetary legends, which the gods had their names on the stars, caused for Nibiru, the planet of crossing, to be called Marduk. Prior to the truce between the two bloodlines, Marduk and his weaponized pyramids were troublesome for Ninnurta, but Ninnurta did overcome them by sieging the remainder of Marduk and his remaining family in the pyramid, and starved them out until they surrendered. So Marduk never beats Ninnurta, but while all this in house fighting is going on in Earth, the rest of the Gods in their home planet catch wind of this and call for the fighting to stop before someone important dies. See, mortals died for the cause, but when the immortal gods were faced with potentially killing their cousins, they figured that their problems with each other were not serious enough to end any of their lives forever, so they came to a council and figured out how they were going to get along for the future.

Common internet mythconception. Easter gets its name from the Old English Ēosturmōnaþ, the month when our pagan ancestors held festivities in honour of the Germanic Spring goddess Ēostre, according to Bede writing from the 8th century, to be replaced by the more hebraic/judaic Paschal month. Sure, the Romans spread near eastern cults far across the empire and vice versa, but I think it would've been at least a footnote if some Germanic tribes took up Mesopotamian goddesses in the time before Christianity took hold.

The creepy thing is all their idols are reptilian or snake-humanoid in appearance yet the only reptile references in later religions is the snake in the garden of Eden. When a later culture doesn’t adopt a previous cultures’ figure(s) of importance it’s usually because they are absolutely terrifying and don’t share any values as the next people or are painted in a very negative (ie Prometheus should be worshipped for giving to man but written as a secondary nuisance to Zeus)

I also believe the story of the serpent in the garden has been manipulated and the key is in the translation and interpretation. Some texts make it that the serpent is telling Eve the truth about why "God" doesn't want them to "eat of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil", not tempting them to be as gods, but simply explaining they'll have that same ability of discernment as the gods.
