As a neurodivergent person i understand why some people defend disney adults bc ik how hard special interests and hyperfixations hit but also... When i see videos of disney adults who are dragging their kids around and disturbing other people's time and causing issues on purpose just bc they think they have weird special priveleges it just weirds me out. Also the people who live on the park grounds give lowkey culty vibes

Every autistic person has that moment of painful realization that it's no longer acceptable to be into the thing you're into.
I went to a Yu-Gi-Oh event at the local library when I was around 16 or so. I didn't have anyone to play with anymore, so I was excited. I entered the hall.
I quickly realized I was at least 6 years older than every other person there. I turned around, left, and haven't touched my cards since.
If you're special interest isn't something you can do in private, well, that's too bad.

It’s perfectly acceptable to be a “Disney adult” but part of that is the adult part. Act your age, respect others, and be respectful of the rules. The people who think you shouldn’t go unless you have kids because “Disney world is for kids” are just plain incorrect. Walt Disney’s entire vision for the parks was a place for everyone of all ages. You should not go if you’re someone who doesn’t follow the rules, like dumb tik tokers trying to get free shirts by wearing something inappropriate and getting pissed when Disney stops letting them take advantage, or are just plain rude to other people or get too drunk in public, etc. Be respectful, be empathetic, and be patient and no one should have a problem with you. Same goes for someone even if they have a kid. Don’t act entitled because you have a kid, keep a proper eye on your child, and for fucks sake it doesn’t matter what you want, if your child is too tired and just done with being at the park, don’t force them to stay. You have kids, they come first and you can’t just do everything you want anymore. Adults have every right to be at the parks as long as they act like decent human beings, which they should be doing everywhere they go. Further more patience is a huge thing (I’m talking about with people not long lines). If you see a parent walking around with a screaming little kid, ignore it because kids don’t know how to express their emotions besides crying and that parent is probably already trying to resolve the matter. If you see a kid or adult yelling nonsense sounds or having “weird” physical mannerisms or “acting like a child” or anything else, remember neurodivergent people exist. All theme parks have the same issues as Disney when it comes to this stuff and the solution is, if you want to go just don’t be an asshole.

24:05 I can confirm that the Disney Cruise, especially for a 5 year old, is terrifying. I didn’t know why the floor was rocking, who the daycare workers were, why they separated me from my 4 year old sister and my parents, who all these older kids were at the water park (who bullied the shit outta me).
Just… don’t take kids younger than 8-10 on a Disney Cruise. I don’t remember anything other than the bits where I was sobbing my eyes out. I think it was formative for my now intense fear of the ocean.

Tbf I had this on in BG and accidently kept replaying it and never replayed the part where he explains what that is. Ofc not saying he didn't It was just super quick mention. I'm gonna assumed either there's a wiggle named Murray who is american OR theres a genuine section of the park southern themed 💀
      Which reminds me..
Sneeg keeps mentioning Missouri and towards the lowest south in Branson there's a theme park called "Silver Dollar City"
If you have not gone try to go. Please.... it is SO YEEHAW 🤠 that as an adult I lmao when im there cause it's so excessive but it's a true THEME park lmao
There's a CONSTANT banjo type music playing everywhere, American flags every 10 feet, and it's old timey themed with wooden coasters (scary tbh I don't ride many rides... even kiddie rides but I LOVE to watch them. It's a marvel humans made them imo)
They used to have Worldfest where the American flags would be toned down and other countries flags put up, foreigners would bring their cultural food ( a crepe and kielbasa lmao true dishes) it was so much fun as a young teen who likes history and the food was delicious.
The normal food also SMELLS AMAZING ,imo, throughout the entire park, the workers really get into their accents and roles.
They wear old timey costumes AND there's ton of shops that ALSO have the theme too it, glass blowing shop is one of my favs.
The prices weren't too crazy either but it's been awhile since I went
ALSO I've never heard of an accident there which is a huge deal to me... one of my favorite things is theme parks but it's also one of my scariest so i usually don't ride and just watch in awe
But just walking around is worth it imo I think it's like 100 dollars for a day and imo a season past for like 60 dollars more (INCLUDING THE WATER PARK) is worth it
I adore that place lol I garuntee it made me who I am (I dream of theme parks almost every night idk why lol)

Now I think about it it's really better to get a season pass,
It's not a HUGE park but still Ive been countless times since a kid and there's parts even I'm not familiar with cause I didn't walk there much and feet always hurt lol
Also it's pretty much In a forest, like if you peek over the border fences there's just nature and I bet the view from atop the coasters is incredible (I will not know unless I watc a yt vid kudos to you if you can handle those rides. I'm seriously worried my heart straight up would give out considering the dragon kiddie rides make my body freak out💀)

For those curious, the figure Sneeg calls a "Knight of the Round Table" at 4:27 is most likely Ned Kelly! He was an outlaw in the 1800s and is an Australian folk hero on par with Robin Hood - he was (reportedly) incredibly polite to his hostages, burned mortgages and deeds during his Jerilderie raid because of his belief that the banks were killing the common man, and wrote a letter after the Jerilderie raid where he called out cases of police corruption and described the brutal treatment of Irish convicts in Australia (his own father having been sent to Australia as a convict simply for stealing two pigs). In his final shootout with the police, he was wearing a self-made suit of armor, which looks incredibly similar to the armor the "knight" is wearing.

My aunt who lives in Florida used to work for part of Disney, so we could visit and get employee discounts, we could visit the parks for free, etc.
Just, we would make sure to stay with them to try and spend as little money as possible, and employees would have these things called like "black-out days" or smth, which meant you couldn't visit a certain park on that day with the employee card to get in for free.
We'd only spend a bit of money there, and try to go on rides if the lines were short, or if we _really_ wanted to go on them (like the Jungle Cruise). Also, only got Fastpasses for rides that you really want to go on, and you _know_ will have a long line for, such as with Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain
It's certainly interesting and fun to go to the parks, but they can cost a lot via the tickets, hotels, gift shops, food, etc. My best advice is make a plan for what park you want to go to for the day (or parks, they do have buses to transport you between them), figure out what rides or locations are most important for you to go to/enjoy/look at/etc., and the thing I think everyone needs to hear most off all: *be flexible!* Your plans are likely to change when you're at the park, and obviously, things can change day-by-day, park-by-park. It's ok if you aren't able to go on all the rides you want to, just look for wants open around you, what you can wait for, and what you want to do next. (And, a friendly reminder that just because you're near a park doesn't mean you _have_ to go to it. No matter what location you're in, or what park you're around, there's likely to be a ton of fun things to do around due to the amount of tourists that parks attract. Go mini-golfing, go to a waterpark, check out a nearby zoo--you don't _have_ to be in a park in order to have fun, especially if you're on vacation! You can still make fun memories, but don't forget that your wallet still has to survive by the end of it--also give it a break on big trips like those lol)

I've been to Disney World twice in my life (cause I'm on the east coast and it's cheaper)
First time I barely remember, it sucked for the most part cause we only went to Magic Kingdom and it rained the whole time.
Second time was the best freaking time of my life, and it was with my least favorite person (my dad).
My dad then planned a third trip for me, him, and my mom. This was going to be our "be-all-end-all" or Disney trips, meaning that we'd never go again because of the cost. He bought the tickets to the fanciest hotels and we were going to stay there for a week going to every park and experiencing it all.
30 days before we were going to go, and Covid hit. My dad was able to get a refund for it all, and my parents ended up spending the money on Christmas instead. I don't think I'll ever get to go to Disney again in my life, and I'm really disappointed. It just costs so much to plan, and we absolutely do not have that money. Oh well

Disney's disability access is like barely ADA compliant. It's awful trying to get someone around in a wheelchair and most of the rides if you want to go in the "wheelchair" line you HAVE to buy a fast pass and schedule a time for that ride. We could not get on most rides because we could not afford to buy a like $30 fast pass for *every* ride

19:00 that's why HKDL the goat, small park can easily do everything in one day and the longest a line will ever get is 2 hours (and all of it is localized to one land, and will only happen on major holidays (Chinese New Year especially)). On a normal day lines barely hit the 1 hour mark.
his entire rant is about Florida Disney, which honestly is the worst park overall. However (just to flex a lil) I went there once and my dad at the time worked for Disney and knew the person who made the new fastpass system (this was right when they got rid of physical tickets and made them digital attached to your park tickets) and they gave us functionally infinite fast passes to anyone in our party and that was my first and only time I'll ever go to Florida Disney (and Florida as a whole)

17:20 you also made a video reacting to Disney lines and Fast-Pass. Really cool video and shows you how abysmal Disney lines are and how stupid it is.

I haven't been to WDW since 2018 but I did get married there in 2008 and went every year for ten years afterwards. So I mean... ouch. 😆 I feel so judged. I can say that we've never stressed about money regarding the trip, but we plan ahead.
We're finally going back next month and I'm trying to decide if I should wear my Defunctland "Let's Go Homosexual Fast Dancing" shirt. I'm not sure it'll be worth the looks.

Don’t act entitled because you have a kid, keep a proper eye on your child, and for fucks sake it doesn’t matter what you want, if you’ve been there all day and your child is too tired and just done with being at the park, don’t force them to stay. You have kids, they come first and you can’t just do everything you want anymore. Adults have every right to be at the parks as long as they act like decent human beings, which they should be doing everywhere they go. Patience is a huge thing (I’m talking about with people not long lines). If you see a parent walking around with a screaming little kid who probably wanted a toy or something that was too expensive, ignore it because little kids don’t know how to express their emotions besides crying and even grade school children will regress to that if they’re over whelmed or tired. That parent is probably already trying to resolve the matter. If you see a kid or adult yelling nonsense sounds or having “weird” physical mannerisms or “acting like a child” or anything else, remember neurodivergent people exist. All theme parks have the same issues as Disney when it comes to this stuff and the solution is, if you want to go, just don’t be an asshole.
That being said don’t go if you can’t afford it, taking care of yourself is more important than a crowded and loud park that will most likely also drain you emotionally and energy wise. It all comes back to being able to act like an adult and make informed adult decisions.
