I remember when I went to see Mount Salem when they came to my city on their Europe tour. I had been listening to some of their songs, but I had never actually seen the band. When I got there, there was a merchandise stand and a young lady was selling shirts, posters, etc. I went over to buy a Mount Salem shirt and asked her, which one of the shirts she'd recommend (they all looked cool, but I was on a budget). She took her time showing me all the shirts, CDs and other merch they had showcased, being generally super kind and nice and striking up conversation. Since the concert was about to start I had to decide on what to buy and I was a little bit indecisive, because I was definitely getting a shirt, but I really wanted a band poster (as I was collecting those). To my surprise she told me the band posters were for free! I thanked her to the heavens for that and because the concert was about to start I said my goodbyes and went off to watch the concert. As I was waiting for Mount Salem to start I was thinking to myself, what a nice person the vendor had been. Then the band went on stage and I couldn't believe my eyes, when I see that the young woman I had been talking to was the lead singer, Emily Kopplin. I felt so dumb because of that hahaha XD I was really dumbstruck and only came to my senses, when they started playing this song. After that I started headbanging and had the fattest grin on my face during the whole concert :D The concert was f**king awesome!!! And Emily Kopplin and band sounded just like in the video (but better because live). The only thing that saddens me, is that I didn't get the chance to get my poster signed by her or anyone of the band. I wished I would have known beforehand :') I still have that shirt and poster and whenever I see them they remind me of this story :)
