I have a 2001 model and it really is the perfect starter bike. I have four bikes now including a vintage Harley, a Triumph, and a Honda Shadow, but I'll never sell my Rebel. It's my always-reliable little buddy.
Any good motorcycle is much more than a starter bike. I have been riding 55 years, and recently dropped from a big Valkyrie to a RE Hunter 350, best move in years. Smaller bore bikes are just a lot more fun to ride than big bikes.
I have a 2002 Honda rebel. And a 2006 Suzuki Savage 650. I love my bikes. My pals laugh at me. But I don't care. However, my bikes can go forever. Their bikes are constantly in the garage. They are easy to maintain. Great all around motorcycles.
It's in nice shape! It seems a bit smaller than the 2018 V Star 250 I just bought? V Star is a torquey bike that fits me just right. Beginning again after 50 year absence.
Picked mine up for $1000 it’s not running. Needs a carb cleaning and it’s good to go... bike is in new condition with 800 miles on it. I’m excited man.
Not bad. The seller that I got my 1500 mile 09 from was asking that originally but he took 1500. A few hundred isn't a big deal with these things anyway.. super reliable bikes and I don't really have any plans to sell mine. I love the simplicity and it's fast enough to take me anywhere I'd wanna ride it. Currently about to hit 7k with no real issues yet.
Wouldn’t it be safer to do a U turn on a 2 lane road and not cross a intersection? Just saying! These little bikes are nice. I just received one the same color.
I paid 200 for a 2009 with 1100 miles on it. It was dropped off a shipment truck , broke off the speedo, screwed up the tank. Somehow the battery cover got lost. One of the strut rails broke. But I found all but a blue battery cover and between the bike and the parts I'm maybe 375 into this bike. Very excited for my new tank to get in.
Hi am Antonio where is the bike I like I love. I am interested on the bike that is the perfect size for me let me know please have a blessed night amen
I have 2008 Rebel 250 and have no desire to switch over Rebel 300 or 500. Honda should have kept the original Rebel 250. Not too people I knew interested in new Rebel 300 because the ugly look. Honda have not had good sales on either Rebel 250 or 500 ever since they were introduced three years ago. People want motorcycles look like motorcycles, not something else.
Deals come up.. there's a non running one for 800 around here at the moment. Running condition usually fetches at least 1k. My 1500 mile 09 was 1500 and super clean back then. It's nearing 7k with no real issues yet. Just had to replace the shift lever pivot bolt. It snapped around 5k, pretty sure it was damaged from the previous owner.
I just found one I may get with 13k miles and they only want 1200. In a state where everything with a motor is normally stupidly more than that even for a rebel:

It’s an 09 and I believe that’s the last year they sold the blue ones. So my bike is gonna be doubled in price once I clean her up
Just got a 2015 w/under 500 miles. It's the Rubidium Candy Red and lot's O'chrome.😎
Not a fan of the new ones tho yikes😬

Rebel 250 is still looking better than new Rebel 300 and cheaper. Honda stopped producing Rebel 250 since 2016.
The freeway is not fun on my rebel.for long stretch anyway 😊
I just bought an 08 for 100 bucks needs some work but I can't complain lol
I cant find any in 2023 for under 2500

How would the rebel suit me, ? i'm 5 foot 8 and heavy
Your all lucky here in the phil.you cant find one of that kind o bike for sale at that price
Love my rebel, but 2 people, yes, but smaller people 😂
Is 1200$ good for a 2001 honda rebel with 6k miles, its scratches up quite a bit and has a dent
As long as the bike is mechanically sound and 100% safe then yes that’s a good price
Year doesn’t matter as much as overall condition.. i paid 1400 for an 09 in great shape with 1500 on it

We have amazing sales on the 300 and the 500 but the 250 is definitely a fan favorite and a classic! #CCKING
