It disrupts the aim of range units, causing their projectiles to fall 1 cell short of their target. Marine's rifle bullets, if missed, don't do any dmg hence marines can't hit targets in the swarm. Tank's on the other hand does splash dmg, so even if it falls 1 cell short it still does dmg. oh and hydralisks can't shoot targets inside the swarm either(contrary to the popular belief)

And if you actually try having 20 tanks shooting a target in a DS its hp WILL go down. I don't really know what you mean by the second parag
That was the first time I ever saw boxer go for an early expansion lol. I wonder what would have happened if he hadn't? The zerg player went for 2 hatcheries AND an expansion. Boxer could have screwed him over with a rush since his SCV found his opponent nice and early.
i dont kno y, but battles with terran are always better, like terran vs toss, terran vs zerg, even terran vs terran, but like zerg vs toss, toss vs toss, and zerg vs zerg are always a little boring

That is done by the Zerg Defiler. It makes it so that you can't see what you are doing. I don't know what else it does.
