The power on the bmw felt like more (they were both 3.0 diesel engines) the transmission was better and faster. But now about the mercedes. But what i still cant understand is how can a bmw which is lighter (about 200kg), has more hp (about 20 i believe talking pre-facelift here) just cant pass a mercedes?

It sounds and looks better, you can get it in a manual or automated single clutch, unlike the shitty torque converter in the E55. Mercedes has shitty air ride suspension that blows out prematurely, the side bolsters become worn and the automatic seat adjustment pushes the bolsters out and bulges them. I can go on and on lol. M Power engineering is on another level, Unlike AMG using the same big engine in everything they make. Even the new M3 non-competition package keeps up in a straight line against the AMG C63S and beats it on the track by almost a full second while having 80 hp less..LOL.

This E55 has 30hp and 200+ more torque than M5 E60. In any other case it would be demolished by V10 ///M.

e60 M5 is a naturally aspirated V10. The e55 KOMPRESSOR is a turbo v8, you can easily chiptune those cars to make more HP.
