Who wouldn’t be? She was a total BAMF. Leader of the Underground Railroad, Union Spy, she lead troops into battle at the Combahee Ferry Raid. The woman was a force to be reckoned with.
I love this series and all the actors!!! But as a Marine veteran, I reluctantly say the Harpers Ferry plan was absolutely terrible. But he was a preacher first, and a military revolutionary second, so understandable and should still be admired.
He had the purpose. The righteous cause. But as you say, he was a preacher above all. A man of God. He just needed a skilled tactician. As cliche as it may be, thank you for your service.
No it truly wasn't. As much as I respect John Brown & all of his contributions to abolitionism - including the raid on Harper's Ferry - it was ill-fated from the start.
There are a lot of movies made about the same person (Cleopatra, Joan of Arc, Napoleon, Alexander etc), and the Harriet film was not very accurate to her life unfortunately.
This show is so damn underrated.
True
This show needs to be advertised more
Few will know that John Brown was Harriet Tubmans right hand man
the only thing that stopped her from being at the armory raid was she caught a sickness at the time
@@KFishproductionII She more than made up for it at Combahee ferry.
I'm an extra in this scene
That’s awesome! Where are you?
