We all love the podcast and the show Stig, but with respect: a SEVEN-minute ramble to ask the first question is way too much. Shorter intros to the Qs, Qs, and then let your guest be the star. Please.

Stig, these are some of the best question I’ve heard anybody asked Mohnish, and you got so much juice out of him. I’m so tired of people asking him about the Buffett lunch, about Reysas, about his IT business, about macro environment etc, basically questions that have been asked a million times that I could tell the answer even before Mohnish answers. Yes, you could have phrases some questions a bit more concise, but overall this was awesome! So don’t listen to the other commenters, keep doing your thing.

Thanks Stig. I enjoyed this interview with Monish. In contrast to many other commenters, I prefer this kind of conversational discussion style of interview, rather than the simple question, simple answer, on repeat kind of format.
I liked the way that you tried to thoughtfully probe deeper into specific issues, ideas, and concepts of interest, rather than just asking the same old basic cookie cutter questions that get asked in many interviews. Some of the questions were quite long, but in general, it was clear that you were trying to elaborate and clarify certain points. So, this didn't really bother me.

Stig, this was a great conversation!
Unlike many people commenting below, I actually liked your preludes to each question because: Firstly you know Mr Pabrai way better than anyone in your audience; secondly it depicts the nuances you are curious about and thirdly I (we) learn as much from you as we learn from your guest.
Over the years you have had perhaps 7-8 (or more) interviews with Mr Pabrai. I would encourage your dissatisfied listeners to build a watchlist, grab a drink and listen to all of them in consecutive order. A play list like that would paint a great picture of the evolution in Mr Pabrai's investment philosophy and provide insights how some of his ideas have played out.
Long story short- I loved watching the video, and it was great to meet you in person at the TIP events. Thank you very much for organizing them. Mr Pabrai was so right to praise you for giving so much to the community!

I think the interviewer did really well here! It felt like more of a conversation, he did talk quite a bit but I don’t think it was out of place, he still gave mohnish plenty of space to answer! It felt similar to William green’s style and he is by far one of the best to do it!

If your country is under military occupation and the occupiers are rounding up members of an ethnic minority for the purpose eliminating them then you go home, finding in your house your neighbors, who are part of the ethnic group being rounded up. There is a knock on the door and the occupiers ask you if there are members of that ethnic minority in your house. Answering truthfully, will help the occupiers (making you a collaborator) and cause the death of that family, lying to the occupiers will save their lives and that of their eventual descendants.
There can be an ethical case for dishonesty. There are thousands of people who are alive today because they were hidden from such searches in various wars when they occurred. Some families were given fake documents that allowed them to escape with their lives. "“Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing.” - John Stuart Mill (1867)
