After going through brief romances with popular musicians Paul McCartney and Elvis Presley, Peggy wound up married to another musician by the name of Quincy Jones. Although Quincy is certainly not held in the same stature as Paul and Elvis are, he is a legendary musical figure in his own right, best known for producing Michael Jackson’s Thriller.
After Marrying Quincy in 1974, Peggy had two daughters. Those daughters are Rashida and Kikada Jones. Rashida followed in the footsteps of her mother, becoming a television actress. Fans of The Office and Parks and Recreation will certainly recognize Rashida thanks to her recurring role in the former and starring role in the latter.
Peggy decided to take a break from acting after her two daughters were born. Besides appearing in 1979’s The Return of the Mod Squad, she remained relatively unheard from until her divorce from Quincy years later. At that time, Rashida and Kikada were a little bit older, and Peggy considered herself ready to return to the acting scene.
After Peggy’s return to the acting scene, she was given the role of Norma Jennings on director David Lynch’s hit series Twin Peaks. Peggy was given the role in 1989 and portrayed the character for the show’s entire original three-season run. As well, she returned to portray the character of Norma for Twin Peaks: The Return in 2017. Sadly, Peggy passed away soon after that series aired. Peggy lipton was the incredible actress in every TV show and movies hopefully in the 90's they showed mod squad reruns episodes because mod squad was my favorite show R.I.P Peggy and happy heavenly birthday
Peggy was a beautiful mavalous actress on Mod Squad. This show is all time great. Her Talent is timeless. I love her work.
Thanks for watching!
Loved Michael Cole, he was so cute. When Clarence Williams III was part of the cast of Mystery Woman, I was thrilled. A whole new appreciation for his acting.
Thanks for watching!
CW3 was SO serious on Mod Squad. An episode when he was undercover as a patient in an Asylum really showcased his dramatic acting skills.
Michael Cole never was the heartthrob someone like say David Cassidy was. But should have been.
Peggy Lipton was so incredibly attractive
So many actors appeared on that series before they rose to stardom.
Then you had the Vincent Price's and Milton Berle's showing their relevance into the Next Generation...the 70's
I'm happy to have been a child of the sixties 🌼✊️ ☮️✌🏻
The mod squad was different when it came out Julie was beautiful and had a sweet voice
I binged watched Mod Squad over the summer on the Decades channel (local station) just to listen to the intro.
Thanks for watching!
Mod Squad was the show to watch. She made her name on Mod Squad. I love that show then and I will still watch it.
Thanks for watching!
I think The mod squad literally and actually saved lives because it brought down the racial barriers between blacks and whites white people in black people because when you saw The mod squad and the two link and Pete getting along and working together and solving things it you could characterize yourself with those characters and I know that the guy that played Pete Michael Cole he has a heart and soul and so did Clarence Williams III and they were like a family on that show and it went on from 68 until 1973 or 4 or something like that so it was on for at least 5 years what a show I think I got people to accept one another for who we are
She always looked so down and sad she is so beautiful
She was a thoughtful actress. She doesn't get enough credit for her talent; her beauty overshadowed it.
Big time fan of hers back in the 79's and to this day still beyond gorgeous and beautiful 😍
We feel the same way! Thank you for watching our content. Be on the lookout for our next video!
We STILL love Peggy Lipton.
Us too! What role of hers is your favorite?
I loved mod Squad and all the people in it.
Thanks for watching!
That is Linda McCartney in the first picture you showed of Peggy Lipton and Paul McCartney.
You are absolutely right that first picture that they had of Paul McCartney on there was with his wife Linda McCartney and then the second picture was of Peggy Lipton with Paul McCartney but the first one was a picture of Paul McCartney and his wife Linda
Haven't seen the mod squad in 50 years so I don't know how well it holds up. Loved that show as a little boy though. She'll always be Norma. She did get to share a scene in the diner with Clarence Williams. I think it was towards the end of season 2 but don't hold me to that. Even that was 30 years ago.
Ms peggy lipton..great name has expressive face..never seen much of her acting or mod squad for that matter.. but show and her name face stand really out!! Bless ms peggy lipton..thanks facts VERSE
Thanks for watching!
Fell in love with her when I was a kid watching "The Mod Squad."
Back in the day, every girl wanted to be Julie, me included!
marcia brady too, evidentially 😆
LOVED PEGGY LIPTON...WE MISSED HER IN MORE SERIES...AND MOVIED..SUCH A CUTIE...MOD SQUAD..
I'm so sorry beautiful Peggy died so young
True, it's way ahead of her time. She will be missed 😢
She was 72, I think that's all most of us can ask. Anything more is a bonus.
Peggy was 3 years older than me. It was those freckles on her nose that I thought (and still do) brought out her mischievous beauty.
Fun stuff, thanks for sharing! What other types of video would you like to see on our channel?
I loved watching Mod Squad. I wish they would put some of those old shows back on the old tv shows channel. They keep playing the same old ones over and over for years. They need to replaced them for some of the other great old tv shows. I loved watching it for Michael Cole I thought he was just the cutest. I never followed any of them since Mod Squad went off the air.
The mod squad is on metv plus

Thanks
Loved The Mod Squad!
Thanks for watching!
This was the first show I ever saw on tv in COLOR!
I missed our special practice for our upcoming graduation in 1975 because I wanted to watch the special which was The Return of the Mod Squad. To me it was well worth it!
Great video! Peggy's eldest daughter's name is Ki-da-da
Learned a lot about her

Great normal life story...Wonderful to hear they raised 2 smart beautiful daughters. AND ! a private life...
Loved her in Mod Squad and seeing her in her mini skirts. She was a good singer too.
Thanks for watching!
@@FactsVerse shush
HELLOOOOO!! Her name is KIDADA, not Kicaca.
She was Pete's one and only ANGEL
Nice!
I never missed an episode of The Mod Squad in the 60s/70s.
She, Lorie Partridge and Marsha Brady were definitely 3 of my biggest crushes as a young teen. Add Rachel and Ann Margaret to that 😇
Great choices! Amongst the five, which one is your biggest CRUSH? 😁
Man that's a good list back in the day Peggy lifted Susan day from off The Partridge family and the girl from I dream of Jeannie Barbara Eden but Barbara Eden was a little older but she was good looking but yeah I like your list
@@FactsVerse Probably Rachel. If you watch her first interview with Dick Cavett (with Janis Joplin) you will see why ❤️
It's Raquel for God's sake
@@georgeadcock2347 dammit man I’m sorry 😀
She is absolutely cute as hell!
A lot of young people didn't like police departments at that time ... this show tried to counter that feeling.
I was like 4 years old and remember watching the Mod Squad on TV with my parents when we lived in Hawaii
Man I remember watching this movie when I was really young now I'm 59 going on 60 but back then I think I was only seven or eight when it first came out and I love that show man I watched it right up until I was 11 or 12 I love that show I couldn't wait to see it I think it broke down racial barriers and people could characterize their self with Pete and Link Clarence Williams III and also Michael Cole and the girls could relate to Peggy Lipton she was one of the prettiest girls on TV along with the the girl from The Partridge family Susan day I think the only other beautiful woman on TV back then might have been I dream of Jeannie what was her name Shirley Easton or something like that Barbara Eden that was a great movie The mod squad I remember those movies from back in the day I love those movies they all had heart and soul in them
You can get it on dvd
I remembered her from twin peaks, a great actor & mod squad that I watched with my mom. She was pretty good cop. R.i.p.
Her face looks so familiar I swear that she was in a TV show or a movie recently playing someone’s older mother.
Peggy is a Twin Peaks goddess.
In two ways.
Beautiful
Thanks for watching!
I always thought she looked similar to Sharon Tate.
I liked watching her in Mod Squad, but Peggy Lipton was more than just a pretty face and good actor. She was also a spiritual person who practiced yoga meditation, with a Master from India.
Thanks for watching!
She was woke in the late 1960s
Wholesome, physically beautiful, and captivating.
I fell in love with her.
Glad to hear that! Which role of Peggy Lipton is your favorite?
She was a beautiful woman.
We definitely agree! Thank you for watching our content. What other types of videos would you like to see?
@@FactsVerse I can’t think of anything but I will let you know.
Their older daughter's name is Kidada, NOT Kikada!
Her album on Ode was wonderful and should have been much more successful.
My brother & I were named after these characters 'julie & peter' ironically 'julie' had long hair which I begged my mother for when I was young...my 'cow' of a mother though unfortunately wouldn't let me...
I'd never even heard of Ginger Alden until now. They didn't make a big deal out of it.
Peggy got around!
The title says multiple partners but then the narrator says Elvis was impotant. Very misleading!
She was down with the bruddddddas
Loved Mod Squad. Quincy Jones of all people. Married too many times. He was a player.
I LOVED THE MOD SQUAD;: THE 70S ARE SO GREAT!! THEY WERE ALL SO SEXYYY.. PEGGY LIPTON HAD MY HEART,,,. I LEARNED SO MUCH FROM THIS VIDEO.. THX. PEACE !! CHOW..
I just read her book Breathing Out... wish I hadn't. Overall it was sad.
I have the series on dvd
Thanks for watching!
She was so attractive
This girl really did it for me ... hot, sweet - downright delectable !!
Oh the "Odd Squad"!
Thanks for watching!
That photo with Paul McCartney was Linda McCartney, not Peggy Lipton.
How is it hard to pronounce her daughter's CORRECT name?
Can you please make a video about how many girls Jim Morrison dating
We won't promise anything but we'll surely look into the women Jim Morrison dated. Be on the lookout for our next video!
She was my idle 😊❤
Glad to know that you're a fan of Peggy. What other types of video would you like to see on our channel?
Marsha Brady hotter older sister. I liked the Mod Squad, But I told you that yesterday. 21Jump Street had nothing on that show.
Thanks for watching!
Quincy Jones…………… I love her
Who also remembers the episode The Loser
Thanks for watching!
I liked the mod squad my favorite person Michael Cole. Is he still living?
Yes, He is. He has a fan club on Facebook
@@davidlastname8479 Thank you
Yes Michael Cole still alive I saw a video of him today from back in 2019 or maybe 2018 he looked pretty good considering he was an alcoholic for a long time but considering that the movie The mod squad was over 50 years ago came out in 68 in the movie would be about when it first came out what is that 53 years ago I think he was 28 at the time today he'd be what 80 81 or 82
@@timothysmith8667 thank you Timothy
beautiful girl !
We agree! Thank you for watching our content. Be on the lookout for our next video!
Actually, isn't it true after Peggy Lipton. Elvis went on with Linda Thompson THEN Ginger Alden?
I had a huge crush on here
Another beautiful woman gone
Fact -1973 -Elvis moved onto Linda Thompson for a few years before he moved onto Ginger Alden not directly to Ginger as you falsely claimed in the video.
"Pure horse, book him!"
Peggy's daughter's name is Kidada; not Kikada.
Also Rashida Jones
her death saddened me
Us too! May Peggy find peace 🙏
@@FactsVerse
She's in heaven, thats for sure
I’m fifteen and I might be too young to watch The Mod Squad
You wouldn’t be too young I was only 12 years old and watched it. You may have a problem finding reruns on tv.
The Decades channel in Atlanta did a binge weekend over the summer. I love the instrumental intro.
Thanks for watching!
Why does it read Multiple sex with whom? When I did not hear anything about that.
IFELL I. LOVE WITH HER
It's Kidada
You neglected to mention the fact that Peggy was a Jewish ✡ woman whose family came from Ireland 🇮🇪
Her mother just happened to be born in Dublin however her mother's parents themselves originated in Latvia which was then a part of the Russian Empire with Peggy's father being Russian Jewish too
At first I thought she was Susan dey of partridge family.....
We see the resemblance 😄
3:02 That's Linda McCartney, not Peggy Lipton. That computer genrated video for ya
She live down the block from us In lawrence long Island
TWIN PEAKS.
Elvis Presley hahaha
Her daughter’s name isn’t Kikada, it’s KIDADA. You should thoroughly research your data before putting it out there!
She should hav LOVED ME. the whole time.
The Mod Squad was absolutely nothing to do with the British Mod scene, also The Beatles were definitely not a Mod group or Mods.
She sure had plenty of dark chocolate pudding 🍮 in her day.
But why did she not continue to cut her hair in feathers? As a fashion icon, this was the cut to have. I was so disappointed.
The Mod Squad I did saw many of the shows. My interest is in the man young man ClarenceWilliam the third
First
Thanks for watching!
Far cry from a great actress. SHE was a player that's for sure. Variety is the spice of life.
She enjoyed chocolate pudding. A lot.
She sold herself out. She loved and got fooled by the shine. What a waste.
Too much information about Elvis. Tch. Tch.
Married Quincy Jones, F@%k
era molto bella ma sposo' l'uomo sbagliato.
Cancer in 2019?
Peggy lipton and clarence Williams both died of colon cancer.
I liked it when she had hair you could almost see her sit on. She was Jewish....haha white supremacists. I'd have to hear it from Elvis y Peggy about their relationship. At 40 plus years of age, what man is impetant especially around a dynamite babe like the Julie Barnes character. Why Elvis was into karate I find strange as he was in the military y trained so why would he hop on the Bruce Lee bandwagon. Bruce also part Jewish as well.
Actually his mother Grace was half English
@@stephenchappell7512 No. Irish, I believe, from Dublin.
@@user-vc1oz9rv6v
My sources are Charles Russo and Matthew Polly with other claims speculating at German or Dutch Jewish origins but Shanghai being an international city at the time we'll never know for sure
@@stephenchappell7512 Ouch, I COMPLETELY misread your initial comments. I thought you were referring to Peggy Lipton's mother!
@@user-vc1oz9rv6v
Yes if we're talking Peggy her mother was indeed born in Ireland to Latvian Jewish parents
