True damage is just a final multipler at the end of the damage equation that doesn't use any buffs and isn't affected by other things like CRT and such Think of it as just a 🍒 on the top of a dessert. It's nice but it's not the main dish. Just a small extra

Only thing with Boothill is he can be a lot to build especially without his LC but thats nothing major if you are dedicated
