@@fuze1293 yup. Back in the early 2000's, everybody used to be out and about and The Neptunes was on complete fire. I'm sure Chad had no problems then.
"we sold all these records and we didnt have anything to show for it" -except the milions of dollars which i used to buy this house and all my furniture. Dont forget about that hugo lol.
this is from a legendary Dutch show called Lola Da Musica. The show ran from 1994 - 2002, and they did amazing in-depth episodes about specific artists or subcultures and subgenre's within music. Sadly, the show is pre-internet and has not been digitized as far as i know. The only episodes or fragments you can find are the ones people have recorded and uploaded or little bits that have been licensed somehow. I have been looking my entire adult life for this episode but sadly nothing. I actually remember that in the very early days of internet they did have the entire show digitally streamable on the network's website but for some reason they discontinued that. This episode was amazing. It was right around the time The Neptunes were first starting to become big as producers and they either just released the first N.E.R.D. album or were about to.
Surprised Chad would even allow his home life to be filmed. He's extremely lowkey in interviews and appearances. Pharrell's the frontman.
it probably made the most sense cause they were on fire at the time & I feel like he was convinced to lol
