I think Guarding on the Class 314 EMU on the Cathcart Circle, is more fun. The stations are closer together and it's more functional. Start in the front cab, stand up immediately and turn around. Insert the Guard Key in the panel and turn the Circuit Breaker for Door Control to Off, then the AI can't control the doors. Walk through the train to the rear cab, insert the Guard Key behind the Driver's seat for good measure and you have control of the Train ! Go to the door panel in the Yellow Guards Vestibule, flick the Local Door Black Switch down, by now the AI will have asked to take over as the Driver, allow that. Press the Open Doors button and the passenger doors will open. The AI can't close them. Step on the platform let everyone on, step back on the train and press the Door Close Button. As soon as the Passenger Doors are closed (on your command only) the Driver will set off if the loading time is up, so quickly flick the Local Door closed and press the Signal Button a couple of times.

There is a bug found, you can open local guard door when the train go
Luckily it’s much easier that you are using a pc for this as a controller is fiddly

i cant stand how the AI still close the doors, like seriously is it that hard for DTG/Rivet to disable AI door openings etc when we activate the guard box

@@TheBritishAce I’m nit sure how to do it in the 484 however the 313 and 314 is rather easy, you just take the at master key out and put the gear selector to off and then put guard key in
@@TheBritishAce You can do this on the Class 314 on the Cathcart Circle (& on Edinburgh to Glasgow, but there's no intermediate stops.)

Click the door handover button in the cab then go find a guard panel

you cant really, i know he says you cant but considering you cant open the doors and close then as the AI will still do this you technically cant
